x2 vs final project

We asked around for a pracc and x2 said they were up for a game, I asked if they wanted to make it abit more exciting and do a cb ladder game of it. They accepted almost at once and we agreed to play Revenge / Orbital.

Revenge

Both teams had a pretty solid defence from start and it took some time for any of the teams to get far with the flag. After some nice attacks from both sides Antow managed to make a nice run and score 1-0 with 5 minutes played.
Both teams kept attacking but fp were more aggressive in the attacking and it payed off, in the 9:th minute Belemil scored 2-0 for fp.
x2 changed tactics abit and started attack harder and harder. This forced the fp defence to work very hard to keep the flag home and the fp attackers stayed in base more often to help clean it out. Still it was fp who had better chances and Belemil made it all the way home with 5 minutes to go, got killed close to the flag but ThakowZky was there to pick it up and score 3-0.
None of the teams managed to score anymore and the map ended 3-0 for fp.

Orbital

fp changed iblis for Antow and the game could start rather fast.
x2 took command right away and made nice powerfull attacks. It only took Credit 3 minutes to bring the first flag home but he got killed and WonderBRA scored 1-0.
fp got abit nervous and payed more attention on the defence for a while. x2 kept attacking very hard and after 10 minutes they got the fp flag home again but when they were about to cap they couldnt find their own flag. Nedralion had sneaked out and made it all the way home to the fp base on his own while rest of fp chased the x2 FC down and returned, 1-1 by Nedralion!
x2 didnt wanna this to end like this and attacked with AMP's and SB's and they attacked very hard. The fp defence hade to summon all their strenghts to keep the base clear but with 5.30 left Credit scored 2-1 after some nice teamplay.
Nedralion and Belemil did a awsome attack soon after and with a mix of luck and skill they made it all the way home and Belemil scored 2-2! Awsome cover by Nedralion all the way.
fp couldnt keep the base clear the time out so Credit was able to score 3-2 but with only 40 seconds to go it was to late for x2 to win this match, they won Orbital but fp won the match.

Total Score: 5-3

Conclusion

A very nice and friendly game and I look forward to a rematch soon, then with mapwins probebly since both teams agree its more fun with mapwins and a possibly decider.
I must say x2 really impressed me with their fragpower, we were totaly crushed by their fragpower and we had not even 1 player above 45% effi on Revenge. But our teamplay held us together today and its the caps that counts, not the frags <img src='http://www.clanbase.com:8000/smiley1.gif' border='0' width='16' height='16' align=absbottom>

Lava 0-0, most cap attempts by Syncro here, but never really made it to the cap-point :|

Coret 0-1, cap in the last few minutes. Both def's pretty strong here, we got rG's flag out pretty far a few times. The server turned into a PacketLoss walhalla, so our def let go some rG dude 1 time in the end. We nailed em, their mates picked up the flag again... to make a long story short: 1 cap for rG on Coret.

Imo a tie would've been more suitable, but congrats on the win rG <img src='http://www.clanbase.com:8000/smiley5.gif' border='0' width='16' height='16' align=absbottom>
