Today NoA won the final match against CMAX.GG and are now the XV Counter-Strike EuroCup champions. CMAX arrived late to the venue and lost the first map by default.

The Grand Final! Grubby and PGS.PS.Paladyn will fight for the first price, 2000 Euro's. TeK-9 - H2k

The final war in Call of Duty 2 will be between TeK-9 and H2k. H2k just send Speedlink home with a score of 16-7. So H2k received their entrance ticket for the rollercoaster ride that can end at the €2700,- or at the €1500,- station. For those of you who have been following the events of the EuroCup XV LAN event this weekend, including news items, match reports and blogs, you will be happy to hear we have another feature for our coverage provision...

This is the second time these two teams face each other on this LAN finals but this time the looser will end its campaign in this final stage and go home instantly without the opportunity for bigger prize money. NoA is the favorite for this match and Begrip will have to fight very hard to deny their fate and go against the odds.

The 2nd and last day of the EuroCup LAN Finals, we have 6 matches left to play. All the loserbracket finals are about to start, and there is no way back. Winning means you will at least end 2nd, losing the match means you will end up with a 3rd place. With just ~12 hours to go, we are ready for a day full of matches of high quality.

Speedlink - H2k

Today we are live again from Enschede, the Netherlands. CoD2 will kick off this morning just like yesterday. It's a match between Speedlink and H2k. Yesterday morning it was Speedlink who got away with the victory, who will it be this morning? Will it be Speedlink again just like yesterday? Or will it be H2k who will take there revenge on Speedlink? We know for sure it will become a thrilling match.

This day at the EuroCup LAN finals was actionpacked to say the least. This item is ment to give you an overview of the important items and results of today. For some this is an anticipated final, for others Begrip has also chances of being there in the grand final. The difference now is that the winner of this match will only have to win one map in the final to cash up €5000. CMAX done it this time and their chances for the final just increased exponentially.

Both teams coming from a lost it’s time for the first team to drop out of this final stage and go back home with 1000€. It’s the money both teams will try to avoid and force it to the other team, but in the end one has to take it.

Speedlink - TeK-9

This morning Speedlink won from H2k. Luckely for Speedlink H2k wasn't capable of stopping the attacks from Speedlink. So Speedlink advanced to the Winnerbrackets. In this winnerbrackets they have to take it up to TeK-9 who played a thrilling match against Tempkids. Lets do a little review of the matches they played in this cup so far:

H2K - Tempkids

This morning H2K lost from Speedlink so unfortunatly for hem they have to play the LB Round 1 same goes for Tempkids they lost in a real close battle from TeK-9. So arround the clock of 19:30 CET we will have a match between H2K and Tempkids.

After the delay because of Begrips’s problem to get to WZZRD LAN, the players finally got face to face to eliminate maps and dictate the one that was going to be played. After some elimination Begrip was the one with the power to decide which would be played, Nuke or Dust2. The Russian’s choice was the most played map of the history of Counter-Strike, de_Dust2.

What happens when the favorites to winning the cup and the underdogs for the very same competition that weren't even supposed to reach this far join the same server and fight in the EuroCup LAN finals? In this occasion, pure Call of Duty frenzy and excitement!

Today, the 8th of September 2007, the EuroCup XV LAN Finals kicks off. 8 Clans and 4 players arrived at the WZZRD Gaming Centre in Enschede, to play for a grand total of €20,000 in prizemoney.

The first match is scheduled to start at 10:30 CET, the last matches for today are scheduled to end at around 23:00 CET. So get your popcorn ready for a full day of high-standard action!

This week the Warcraft III EuroCup took an unexpected turn. Fnatic/Diesel announced that he would not be able to make it to the venue in Enschede this weekend. The prices for the flight to Holland proved too much for the new Fnatic recruit.

Ofcourse we were shocked to hear one of our hard-fought finalists had to call it a day, but that's the way it goes sometimes!

Unfortunately, while organising a major event in the e-Sports scene, such as our own ClanBase EuroCup XV LAN Finals, you can't prepare for everything.
Today, the Call of Duty 2 squad Logitech.fi has announced their team has disbanded and will not compete in the WZZRD LAN Centre in Enschede on September 8th - 9th.

Team NoA secures the final spot in their favor by winning their last match versus SK Gaming Sweden.

The last ticket for the ClanBase EuroCup XV finals will get to its rightfull owner today. Either SK Gaming Sweden or Team NoA will take this chance and get away with the final spot in the CounterStrike finals, which is set to kick off this weekend in the WZZRD LAN Center in Enschede.

The match will kick off at 21:00 CET and will be broadcasted live on HLTV and IRC (#eurocup.cs).

As mentioned before we’ll able to enjoy both the CoD2 and CS:S Grand Finals with the best female gamers that the Netherlands can offer during the ClanBase EuroCup XV LAN Finals on the Saturday 8th of September.

ClanBase and GX proudly present the Grand Finals of Team GX during the ClanBase EuroCup XV Finals in Wzzrd LAN center in Enschede. Team GX is a project in search for the best female team in the Netherlands.

A little over 2 weeks from now, on the 8th of September, the ClanBase EuroCup XV LAN Finals will commence in the WZZRD LAN Center in Enschede, The Netherlands.
