Reply | The Battlefield Alliance is a proposed panel of competitive Battlefield community members which is aimed at completing the groundwork for creating a competitive eSports mod of the upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company 2 game.
Should mod tools or the ability to mod the game become available, the alliance is tasked with agreeing on competitive rulesets and game modifications which can be used for online and offline tournaments, as well as being a point-of-contact between the community, sponsors and developers.
Inspired by The COD Alliance and the great work that preceded PromodLIVE, we believe that defining and agreeing on a 1 mod, one ruleset solution for competitive BFBC2 is crucial to its sustainability and longevity.
