hence the reason the groups for this years spring cup are kinda messed up and that french team are still doing fake matches in the ladder, when will clanbase actually do something about it? probably never. |

Reply | by little knowledge of the scene im referring to owning_you who has played at a low-med level for ever and hardly knows the teams/players playing out side of the public servers he plays.
well all of the following teams are med skill on a reg day so how are they in division 1?
karma
virtual
ultras
unr
and vital didn't get 1 point in last cup when they played division 1 so why put them there again? it doesn't make sense.
if it was to make the groups all 5 spaces u could easily have just dropped these teams and made it 2 groups like in the past clanbase cups, this way the division 1 would be strong and not wasting time with no shows or 700-0 matches.
and the fake match thing.....evoke have done about 5 of them in the past under diff names and only just now have been caught.
if the admins where a bit more involved in the scene then they might actually have dealt with this situation a long time ago. and yes we did sent mail to the admins but nothing was done. not to u of course since u are just new.
also if the admins where involved in the scene they would know there is at least 3-4 players banned on ESL for hacks yet they can play clanbase and its cups. GG. |

Reply | It doesn't really matter if he played at low-med or high. Belive me, he is experienced admin and he knows what to do here.
Karma, Virtual, Ultras, Unr and Vital definitly aren't as high as top Premier League clans, but aren't low too. It was hard to make a Premier League like in CQ cup. First division in INF cup is for 20 clans, becouse in other way (if I'd made it smaller) I would had to kick off few clans and don't let them to play in cup.
Clans which you nominated just will fight for other goals...

Reply | banned at esl doesnt mean automaticly mean banned on clanbase, there are currently 5 guys banned for hacking since the time adah and me started.
Your other point then about the less knowlage as you call it.
Now days the way bf2 is played has changed compaired with the beginning of bf2. Now days you dont have skilled teams like you have had back then (reffering to, veritas, dignitas, influx, skunks(aka Gamert.bf2)) with players like c-shot and ruffio that where times |

Nowadays we have some very skilled teams, with many players who are easily comparable to the likes of c-sh0t, and enough teams who can compete with the likes of veritas and dignitas
All you've done with that post is showed how little you know about the bf2 competitive scene.
Banned on ESL SHOULD mean banned on Clanbase, because banned on ESL means they cheated ingame. |

Reply | tbh i have to agree with vortice here. if you have been banned on esl for cheating they SHOULD be banned here. Your are saying that if i cheat on esl its ok to come play clanbase. That aint the smartest way to go. Clanbase would end up with all the fail cheaters from esl coming to play here.
I think that someone who knows the community and the teams should be admin.
here is an example: vortice knows alot about teams (bighead) and dosent mind speaking the truth (Like he has today) Someone like gary should be admin

That just shows such a lack of appreciation of the competitive scene.
Half of people banned are probably just account spoofed, any leak of a GUID and hackers can get hold of it. |

Reply | I haven't been in CB for long maybe I can give an outside opinion: It seems that CB has a lack of admins who have a good deal of experience in CB and in BF2 generally. Maybe instead of having these endless trolls, one of these suitable people should attempt to become a CB that way everything seems solved (pointing ou the obvious)
Maybe I am missing something in the process of becoming a CB admin? |
