Reply | Sorry, i must disappoint you. I'm not emo. About your point of view, i can say just that your national team violated the rules plenty of times, and even the punishment wasn't harsh enough in my opinion.
So instead whining and abusing here - which wouldn't have any result, as i have never requested ban if someone abused me - you should mentally grow up, and be mature, otherwise you will have some issues in real life. |

Reply | im 100% that admins were doing wrong, and they didnt try nothing about convincing other players to come back in cod1. it's true that this game is really old like 8-9 years. but almost everyone loved this game. so they havent done nothing about reclamation in cod1.! few cups were runnin great in 2009 and now or maybe 1year ago were SUCKED. just an example, 30clans were invited. like 90matches were played.? almost half teams were noshowin up. admins were wrong about pickin up the teams. they're failures! perheps Im wrong, but then homa/dream told me that who played this N.C (team slovenia) cant participate on cups 'cus some rules.WHY? was i cheatin? fuckin moron..and then u're wonderin why is cod1 death game for sure.? Admins're to lazy for doin sth good.! like u said it's only 15clans active includin kvk.slovenia on other ladders. (idk why we're not hibernating yet. )and what the fuck admins're doin? Reply | Dream invited plenty of Rifle Only players, and we opened the RO ladders for them to increase the activity.
When it was about to start a NC, i have sent hundreds (it might have been around thousand though) PMs to every player, who has ever participated on any CoD1 CB cups (OC, NC, HC). It was advertised on Tek9, Gotfrag, on some Hungarian sites and even on ESL.
Advertised it on xfire, pm-ed all my ~600 "friends" there, contacted some guys on MSN.
Dream was advertising it a lot aswell, he made plenty of video streams, and managed some more with great broadcasters. He contacted a lot of RO players, and convinced them coming and playing on CB. Also we were advertising RO ladders on ESL, and i have seen forum topics about it at lot of places.
We became members of RO xfire usergroups and contacted each RO players directly, talked to them, answered all their questions.
Currently we are building up a staff with more people, and try to reach higher activity with it. More cups, some nightcups might be held as well.
Talking about NationsCup anyway, we managed server sponsors, so all the matches were played on neutral servers. There was award for the most active admins and there were interviews, broadcasts, streams.
We help Dexus, so we collect CoD1 cheats and send them him, so that UAC can detect the new cheats as well. Some private-cheats might bypass it, but obviously the cheating rate decreased since UAC has been made mandatory.
Also the democrew has been made to the "V2" level, so that we randomly checked some demos, even though there were no timestamps. Each demo case could have been closed within 2-3 days.
Conflicts are handled as fast as our policies allow us to close them, ladder applications are also handled quiet fast.
We do have connection with the ESL CoD1 admins, so we can co-operate and share with the community if there's any event or tournament that might be interesting for the community.
The NC was a great cup imo, at least there were hardly any noshow. Except the issue with Slovenia, it ran smooth and there was no problem at all.
Just some numbers:
When the NC was running and we opened the RO ladders, there were ~1200 matches per month.
One month before there were ~700 matches.
One month after there were ~300.
In June all in all 31 CoD1 matches were played, and if it goes on like this, there will be less than 100 matches this month.
Last time there were ~1200 matches during the middle of 2009, and then the activity started decreasing.
We will try to do our best to make the activity higher, but consider that this is quiet an old game.
If you still say we have f*cked up the game, then it's your own problem.
Hope i have explained it clearly enough, and you will be able to open your eyes instead blaming us with pointless things. |
