Reply | I made it becuase other threads are full of nothing worth whine. DONT BOTHER TO CRY HERE, JUST WRITE POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS.
The info here is taken from other UAC2 threads and my own experiments.
WARPS AND FPS DECREASING
Cause
Its probably cause of uac process and folder scans for cheats. Obviously something like that takes some CPU. Normally it wouldnt make a slight difference but when game is running + other soft like irc or xfire - then it is a problem.
Solution?
After lunching UAC2 open task manager, check process and find uac. Right click and change priority to the lowest possible. Now the CPU wont give so much attention for uac but the soft will be still working good.
For me it worked fine and now I can play without any problems.

Solution?
Buy faster connection :3.
Dunno I dont have this problem.
Now I would need yours feedback about the first case whenever it works or not. And please dont whine about how life sucks since its only a game... |

rofl ... u dont have 2 use messengers if u r playing my son!
we cant take these anti cheat tool .. we have to find another tool 2 stop hacking... but we have 2 check that "our" anticheat tool is working on the most pc's as possible. our community is small enough in addition to these things come the lag probs and "heavy" fps lags!
I would suggest that everybody post YES or NO for uac2 in this topic because we would like to be fair compared with the other!

Think twice about what r u saying.
CoD1 is not a popular game anymore so obviously THERE WONT BE MORE ANTYCHEATS THAT SUPPORTS IT WITH REGULAR UPDATES.
Better to help fix the errors than just throw out UAC2. You ppl that have problems and cant solve them urself need to go visit uacs site and talk there about those things. Together with uac staff u can help improve the program and fix the errors in future releases.
If you think making a good anticheat is an easy thing to do - go ahead write us a program. I personaly think its not so...
Most of u ppl just whine but when I went at UAC site I couldnt find any support threads. CB is only using it.

Reply | agree... its not easy indeed BUT dont ignore the other lowpc gamer.. we cant do this. and i got "high" pc but got lags and connection interruped with low pri. and other "i got shit connection" buttons! we cant do this... btw why u dont want see votes here?

Reply | | I really thank god there are some players actually using their brains. People are usually afraid of changes and they start to panic like chicken without head. All that whine about uac2 just proves that. As i already said on forum i support this program because i really believe it will help call of duty 1 worth-while playing again. |

Reply | Change prorioty to the lowest help me so much.
Now FPS dont drop(before it droped sometimes from 333 to 100).
Now only sometimes I got ping 999 for 5 secs when screenshots its taken, but its not problem. |

Reply | guyz now uac2 works fine for me!
ACTIONS TAKEN:
- disabled ANTIVIR FREE AV
- UAC.exe -> slow priority
- CODMP.exe -> high priority
- "I have slow upload" setting in UAC2
Now I don't have fps drops (related to UAC... some drop is present but it depends on the map and it is normal).
About the lag, it happens only when the program makes screens, for 1-2 seconds maximum: it is not a problem for me.
This is an ingame screen showing you what i'm saying about the lag:
You can see:
- 333 fps
- ping increasing for 1 second (look at lagometer "green mountain"), than it returns normal
Just for info, as I wrote in the forum, this is my config:
E6750 2.6@3.4GHz
8800GT 512MB
2 GB DDR2
DSL 7Mb/384Kb fastpath .de ping: 30ms
Before taking these actions I had a lot of problems, now I can say that the game is TOTALLY PLAYABLE (and imho it will be playable for a lot of people who have the same problems. |

Reply | I made a little tutorial about Ardix's ideas:
Step 1:
Set the "i have slow upload (modem) in UAC2
You should run the software for it, go into the Options menu, and select the "I have slowe upload" thing, and in it select the "i have slow upload (modem)" possiblity.

Set low priority for UAC
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL in the same time, and go to the processes tab.Right click on the UAC.exe, select the "Set priority" tab, and set it to "lowest"

Step 3:
Set realtime or high priority to Call of Duty
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL in the same time, and go to the processes tab.Right click on the codMP.exe, select the "Set priority" tab, and set it to "realtime" or "high".If you have mouse lags with "realtime", then you need the "high" option.

Turn off your antivirus software
There is different way at every software for it, but it can give a boost for your FPS also. |

Reply | For the priority setting you have to run the softwares as administrator, and about the black screenshots i have some ideas also.Let's see:
Run the softwares as administrator
For using UAC2 you need to run it as admin
Righ click on the UAC2.exe, select properties, then go to the compatibility tab.Tick the "run as administrator" box.Do the same with codmp.exe.
Disable themes, and run in Windows XP mode
Many times the Windows themes can cause black uac2 screenshots, but with disabled themes and by running the softwares in Windows XP mode you can fix it in most of the cases
Right click on UAC2. exe, select properties, and then the compatibility tab.Tick the Run in the following compatibility mode, and select Windows XP there.Then tick the Disable themes box.Do the same with the codmp.exe.

Try to disable User Account Controll
Open the Control Panel, select the Account and Family settings/Add or remove user account function, select your user account, then go to the Change security settings menu.Turn off user account control there.

Reply | another info about processes priority.
Every process that runs fullscreen mode is automatically assigned to HIGH PRIORITY
So if u use to play CoD fullscreen, u don't need to set codmp.exe to high priority.

Reply | LOL. This is almost impossible. I had during half time already 17,18 screenshots so i dont know why you have only 2 ss in 50 mins. So in my opinion there are two reasons why you had only 2 screenshots. You didnt start uac2 properly or you just closed it during the war (maybe accidently or on purpose).
Or you are just trying your best to discredit this program. Because nobody i know didnt have such problems. Program is doing his job - making screenshots during the war.
p.s i spoke to players which they had lag before now they fix it with suggestions on this forum and program is normaly working just fine |

Reply | If Someone just stops the program it will be logged on the uac2 site. To see uac logs from all users you need to find the match by its id.
I also had the same problem - during match it made only 3 screens.
It looks like for some ppl by setting low priority for uac wont do.
I tried few things and instead of changing uacs priority in tast manager - change codmp.exe prio to the highest. For me it worked fine - no warps or fps decreasings and it made screens like it should. Coldii try this and tell us if it works.
You dman on the other hand should chill out. Stating that something doesnt exists because u or ur friends didnt encounter it is just childish.
And Grievous... dont show more weird pics xD. U want me shitless scared? |

they have uac running all the time, uac scans, uac makes screenshots....what do u want more???
isnt it possible to find a compromise and help those with shit pc's? we still have pbss from our servers --> claim 50/50
for those with shit pc's and uac set on the lowest priority and cod1 to highest IT IS playable, otherwise NOT..
dont understand me wrong, I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH UAC on normal settings, but if it stays like this i have to play opencup with my second lineup, and this the reason why i fight for a solution

When new anti cheat must meet the minimum system requirements for COD 1!!
Minimum system requirements for cod 1
CPU 800 MHz 128 MB ram Graphics geforce mx440 64 MB
On this pc can play COD 1. But on this pc will not let you fully functional UAC... Anti cheat must lower system requirements, Can not be more than the actual system requirement game..
UAC can not have a great system requirements. Never simply will not guarantee full functionality on a weak pc.
So programmers UAC will have much to change the entire program. In order to reliably operate on all pc.
Minimum PC CPU 800 MHz 128 MB RAM GeForce MX440 64MB.
On this pc must reliably operate UAC |
