Im tired of meeting 4 walking turrets with healthpack and defiblirators everytime I want to play a proper pcw. When i read the rules that were established for the ladder I was terribly dissapointed when i couldn't find any class-limits. What ESL/CB writes in their rule books people will take with them in pcw's. They control the whole rule system actually if you think about it. That's why they have to think this over again, and create a class-limit and publish it so that pcw's wont continue just being a pain in the ass and reach it's full potential. I had such big hopes for this game and I still have and im not gonna let this mistake kill it.
this is my suggestion to a class-limit system:


medic-limit: x1

assault-limit: x2

recon-limit: x1


(engineer-limit: x1)

I havent even played COD so i can't argue with you on that one. But that's not the case here. If this game is gonna show it's full potential, class-limits is what it takes imo. Right now you could call this game MEDICS:BC2, wich sucks..

yeah......playing against team where there are only medics is not funny and for sure lame.

m8s, did u play BF2 inf 4x4 ever? all clans played it as 4meds vs 4meds. coz tickets must be saved and noone cryed btw, noone said - ah no, i dont like / i cant play med, so let set class limit...
BC2's squad rush is almost equal BF2's inf 4x4 fbf. so i dont understand why u try to make it COD4 tdm 4x4.

sry, but in bf2 medics didn't have 150 bullets in their magazines

they have AK with damage as M60, accuracy as XM8 and reload time 3 sec. also they are faster then bc2 med with lmg
so 4 bf2 meds not equal 4 bc2 meds. they are stronger, much more stronger. bc2 meds without M60 just spammers, not shooters

Im just doing my best to save this game. And why are people nagging about COD4? Even if my suggestion to class-limits is close to the one in COD4, it's still good and will help this game get even better in official matches. I don't give a fuck about when u played BF2 and every1 just accepted a crappy system, sorry m8.

in bf2 it worked with 4 meds. bc dosent. as said 4 trurrets with med packs and defib. it is sligtly epic (in a bad way) and the way to counter such a formidable wall of fire is mortar and sniper but we cant do that so.....
but the rules are being revisited as we go so hers one that's still hopes for fx class restrictions and total freedom of weapons choice and spec choices.

Im glad someone bright here agrees . If we want this game to be longliving in the world of E-Sport, it needs class-restrictions. It makes people put more effort in to smart teamplay and class-setups wich will make this game way more interesting.

This discussion has been going on for ages on many gaming-fora, SR mode just isn't viable for comp gaming. Class limits would be nice but you CAN'T check/control it and therefore it's not going to work. Furthermore the bf2 argument made no sense what so ever, cause what make the medic so overpowered in this game is not it's huge spray cannon but the spawn protection when you get revived making it close to impossible killing a 4 man medic team meaning the attack team will almost always win.

i'm sorry, but i cant understand it.
4 meds, who dont shoot, just revive another one med, then die to be revived... they move to M-COM like tank track: die-revived-step forvard-revive-die-revived... they set a charge to M-COM by keeping this die-revive-danse. they are dancing this roundelay around M-COM and don't let you come to it... by onw death-respawn... and they win a round 100-0...
i see this scene when i read your phrases... yep, this is horrible
but it's not real.
if u can't kill enemies - there is not so important - were there 4 meds or 1...

i think what he is trying to say is if youre much better than the oponent the amount of medics is irrelevant, as you will overwhelm them eventually.

If its even skilled though, ye it could be annoying and there should be limit set. Though it starts to get complicated if you pick up other peoples kit.

Classes could be specified before the round but then that would spoil the ability to change classes on the fly.

To be honest in all the pcws (maybe 6-7) we have played ive not yet seen a full team of medics. I think most people play whatever they kill best with and slightly alter classes for the map/round/situation at the time.

All that said, the game needs a war mod!

hello there old fellow sof2-player!
I played squad rush today and noticed right away that opposing team was time after time full of medics,and it kinda annoyed the living shit out of me.i managed to perform very nicely with assault in every round i played but when you throw some very good players to enemy team i would think its turns to be very very hard to overcome them if they stick to medics.i would hate to see wars turning to full medic battles.i dont hate playing medic but i would enjoy if i could choose otherwise also and still maintain competitive team compination.

And yes,we do need mod/recording system to BC2.And DiCE have a lot of bugs to fix in this game also,im having some CTDs time and time again and some GFX-errors. GL to all!

impossible to do so as you dont have a demo function in the game you cant check if they really have 1 medic. and as long as there are no mod tools or demo functions so noway that you can see / control it.

does that mean you can never play more than 5 players or am i missing something ??

if your team has better tactics and skill then the other team you will win whatever they use....you can`t revive a team mate if you are dead and surely if you can shoot one person then you cans hoot his mate in the same place before he can revive him ???

i`ve never seen a 4 squad that is invincable

Agrea fully..

Make two diffrent ladders if you really need Medic only teams, and A diffrent ladder for one of each class. But my clan will not play 4 medics wars. People wanting to save tickets playing medics might aswel take the tickets away its basicly cheating not to mention boring as sin.

Thanks to all that agrees and really want to see a change Let's hope the admins take notice of this thread and introduce class-limits in their next rule update. To all of you who want class-limits: write tickets to the admins! The more the better, make this official.

I think there should be limits on snipers in a match. I have played in Rush games where half my team is a sniper and the other half barely able to complete our objectives. Its usually something like: 7 assult/Eng/Medic versus 15-16. While our snipers hind in the back barely breaking 10 kills. Blah

Read again :/ I have included recon limit 1 in my suggestion. Medics are still much more common in greater numbers than recons, but i agree that it would be lame to play against 3-4 recons as an attacker ^^

Lol it seems already has his wayne mode already on. I will give you my opinion on this.

It's first of all stupid to say that a team with medics only is not killable. As attacking the priority is to get the bom down and defend it. Defenders can easily get a full team medic down by bashing them with nades as you dont have to worry about your own tickets you can easily play assault. No one of you is seeing the problem that if you get revived you get a haxor.shield wich makes you god for 2 seconds. Thats the biggest fail EA did. Now let not make this game another cod shit game and let us wait on a mod where this haxor.shield doesnt excist anymore.

p.s: 4v4 sqrush will probably be dead in a few months anyway as the main focus is 5v5 conq inf only. So lets not wayne and have patience.

i have to say that moment ago i played my first and maybe the last Squadrush war if there no classrestrictions.I mean i havent played BF series before this game and coming to this first BF war i had only played public..A LOT.During war my first impression was that "wtf is this shit"...only medics..that takes SO MUCH away from this game and its potential.

At DICE they clearly didn't think about WARs,or E-sports more accurately speaking,and thats pretty weird if you think about the fact that this is so called "E-Sports-era".i mean come on,theres no recording system(biggest fail yet),console and no mods.Once you get a undetected hack you can go on with it as long as you want,PB comes months or years behind as always = community doesnt have any tools to bust'em with.

This is the squad rush class limit i want, me all almost all clans arround. most ppl dont play squad rush because there is no class limit...

PLEASE CLANBASE PLEASE! read this class limits,

i really dnt care about the limit on assault or engineer, but yeah NO 4xMedic PLEASE! all teams are doing that...

that why in eurodomination fix that problem. they have 3 rules - original( norestricts ) , modified ( max 2 medics per 7 members , max 1 rpg,1cg , 1 m136 ) ,infantry ( max 2 medics , no cg,rpg,m136)
we come from that league. thes 3 rules its good. and team can chose what can they use
