im not captain of team poland ctf but after that nikon fucked up, short after signed up as captain...
im writing this topic because i disagree with verdict (default win for hungary against poland).
the spot is i talked with smuggi (captain team hungary), and i informed him about that we are going to take wildcard, he agreed i apologized him than he wrote no problem. i have logs ofcorse if someone need it i can send. after training i come to home and i see on irc w/o for hungary. LOL WTF its little bit unfair for us, they just cheated me and cb admins, if you cant help us we are going to drop this cup.

TBH, I can't judge what is really happened, but I can assure you, that the Hungarians I know are all do value and honor sportsmanship, and they also respect the teams of other nations. I honestly hope that all this is just a misunderstanding.
If I understand the rules right, you still have time to use your wildcard, you just have to contact one of the supervisors, as shown in the rules: http://clanbase.ggl.com/rules.php?lid=10158
10/5: "When a wildcard is used, the national teams have to reschedule the match immediately to one of the days into the same or the following matchweek of the original match date, and inform the supervisor. If no agreement is communicated to the Supervisor within 48hrs of the original match time, he may force the match to be played as he sees fit."

Reply | From the Rules: The wildcard can be used up until 10 minutes after the match start time as shown on the Roster Page.
Poland captain did make a mistake for not contacting admin about this like said in the rules, but wildcard is gonna be allowed for team Poland in this case. After all, its in our interest for the games to be played , so the least def-wins , the better.
Please, both captains reschedule match to one day in this or next week by Sunday 28 Feb, or match will be forced by admins.
Def-win for Team Hungary is now declared null and void.
Further or intentional misunderstanding of the rules will not be tolerated in the future. I`ll post news item about this , so its perfectly clear. |
