Reply | basicly everything like this is pretty awesome,it brings up good memories but in the same time it reminds me of my eternal hatred towards SoF3 and its developers who really "finalized" this series.It also makes me sad that i joined the "Gold" version of sof2 too late.For exsample INF ladder was already pretty much dead when i came here from 1.00.and i had to adjust to CTF  |

good job, made me think about reinstalling sof2 for 2 whole seconds and then I came to my senses |

i like it apart from fact that i always saw something flashin in the left corner but everytime couldnt see what it was untill i just kept lookin :P those names flash by really fast to fast imo but who cares i guess u wont make any other vids so it doesnt matter |

Reply | Well I hope Quake Live gets some nice tools etc in the future, then I'd spend more than two weeks making a nice video for sure : D
...and free up more disk space, dayum this stuff is harsh when you start having a couple of minutes raw footage :/
Learnt a truckload making this one though, just couldn't use everything without starting over from scratch and my motivation was wearing thin towards the end (hence epicly advanced outro : D) |

Reply | | Don't think so, no. Quick look at the (lack of) activity in the ladders and the fact that there are no more cups should pretty much cement this. There are, like with anything, a few small but hardcore communities that live on (american realdamage infiltration public f.e.) but overall, done chapter. |

Just wanted to say that if anyone was kind-of-interested-but-not-enough-to-download-400-megs-from-crappy-mirrors there's a YouTube HD version up now which, unlike the previous unwatchable version, isn't much worse than the download. Biggest difference would be 30 frames per second instead of 50 but hell, it's free and streaming, who can complain.

Reply | | If I understood it correctly you basically just make sure whatever you upload is 1280x720 and it'll detect that and go "oh, HD." Takes quite a while for the "Watch in HD" link to appear though. |
