I just wanted to briefly introduce me to those of you who don't know me, I am the new Game Supervisor of Medal of Honor Airborne!
My real name is Ed Hahne, I am 21 years old and live in Germany, I am a student at the university of Bayreuth.
Since I'm quite new to all this cb-admin-stuff and I got some reallife, too (you can basicly name it exams until Wendesday right now) there will definetly be some changes and news for MoHA comming to you soon, but not likley today or tomorrow, expect more news not before weekend <img src='http://de.static.ggl.com/CB/images/smiley5.gif' border='0' width='16' height='16' align=absbottom>
Just to give you a rough idea about what's first on my to do list:
- we will do some changes in the rules-section first
- there is going to be more information on Clanbase concerning the 1.3 patch
- thinking about ladders (changing and/or new one(s))
Therefore you are warmly welcomed to contact me on #clanbase.moha and/or via email/CB-PM. You can tell me what you want to see in the Airborne section and what you think needs to be fixed! Any other question/complaint or whatever is of course welcomed, too <img src='http://de.static.ggl.com/CB/images/smiley1.gif' border='0' width='16' height='16' align=absbottom>

Reply | Yeah, i already was in a funteam in the 2on2 tdm ladder, but i ain't playing at the moment. Instead I focus on organizing things and writing moh-related stuff.
Just give the game a breath and hang in until patch 1.3 arrives, i guess you know what 1.3 will bring and we have to wait and react.
Nevertheless it's not my job to play MoH:Airborne in the ladders, i just have to organize things and sort out what's best to do so that the community can enjoy a good time with moh:airborne. If you have any complaint or want anything to be changed -> just let me know and talk to me about it and you can be sure that i will listen to you and think about it.
Right now i think things are fine, i once thought about introducing a 1on1 ladder, but as i played some 1on1 matches, too, i understood that moha is not playable in 1on1 unless there's at least a classic OBJ mode, but anyhow, it should be played in teams, in best case a 5on5.
So don't hold back, just play! You can also join #clanbase.moha and talk to me if you have anything which needs to be talked about!

Reply | you sure feel great after deleting my post? i just gave my opinion and im allowed to do that so as im going to do it again:
ive never seen good work of an admin in my eyes, delete it again and ill post again it, i dont give a damn tho i would like to see more matches at MoHA and its pissing me off that clanbase and EA made this game dead, i hope you can resurrect it from its death but i doubt of its gonna work

Reply | And you're absolutly right on this one. EALA screwed it up pretty much in the beginning, but they did a good job on 1.3 ... and yes, moha is pretty dead born, and i really do my very best to get it alive again. I am pretty new as GameSup of MoHA and if you got any idea what could be done better, just tell me, seriously, i would be glad!
I am working pretty hard for MoHA, not only on ClanBase, ofc i do not want any cheering from you for this or anything, but please don't call me a lazzy bastard or stuff like that. I would like the community to work together with the admins, as well as EALA, unfortunatelly they don't really support me/anyone at the moment.
So let's go for this, MoHA is a pretty nice game in my eyes (seriously, I say this as a player and not as admin or journalist) now, and yes: there is a chance of getting this game alive, maybe just a small and familiar community, but this shouldn't be a problem: If any1 wants to go "progaming" (lol) then he needs to go elsewhere, not to MoH - but MoHA nevertheless can be a good game for fungamers. |
