The moderation of the MOHAA forum is a continued debate.
In order that the forum-users are informed as to what is considered acceptable, I have detailed a small summary below.
With regret, moderation is subjective and one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter… the balance is never easy to realise, I would guess it is only considered in balance by the moderator.
Whilst, the MOHAA Admins have made reasonable attempts to keep this balance.. There are individuals that continue to use the forum to spam, abuse or flame.
It is in all our interests that the forum is kept in good order and both sides have to compromise on some issues. Therefore, I am detailing the policy for you to read and hopefully, comply with.
Should this not be recognised as a step-forward, with clans / players or non-players continuing to disregard the policy, then firm action will be taken.
This is neither a threat nor a promise, more an overview on how the forum is being moderated.
Please take some time to read this and should you wish to reply, then I would ask that it is inline with the policy detailed.
1.Off-Topic [OT] threads will be allowed if they:-
Provoke a reasonable gaming related discussion
Do not conflict with CB policy (see below)
2.Off-Topic [OT] and on-topic threads will be deleted if they:-
Conflict with CB policy (see below)
Are hijacked by flamers or abusers
Threads & links referring to non-gaming subjects such as Music / Videos / Sports etc.. would be better posted on a different forum. It must be remembered that we remain the international meeting place and competition organizer for online gamers and we will not move away from our core value.
ClanBase Policy does NOT allow:-
Behaviour only meant to shock or disturb
Asking wars on the forum
Racism
Bothering people with off-topic advertising
Exposing viruses or worms
Refering to cheats
Senseless spamming
Harassment (repeated insulting/bothering)
Offending a ClanBase admin in course of his/her official duties
