"Everyone of us remember dear Red Alert from childhood. Westwood studios did open source code and made game as freeware at 2008 when EA published RA3. Original RA need dos-box to be played but there is now "open" version what is full playable with new computers and systems.

There are players but no any internet ladders so all matches atm are against randoms. Open RA supports dedicated servers and there is 3 dedicated servers at server list so go play and test with your friend.

P.S. The game also includes C&C and Dune2000 mod's. All games uses same motor.
There are also some cups at forums. There were 12 teams on last 2on2 cup 2½ weeks ago. Now there is a sign up phase for 1on1 cup and there will be 3on3 cup before cristmas.

I believe that there will be more players interesting when they hear Open RA.
