UK military seeks gamers to fly attack helicopters!
by: A_SpecYes, it’s true. Military commanders in the United Kingdom are looking for you to fly their most potent and advanced helicopters. It seems that youngsters from the so called “X-Box generation” have all the basic enhanced reflexes required to fly one of these 10 ton behemoths.
A senior army air corps officer reported:
"The skill in flying the aircraft is to absorb large amounts of information from different sources without becoming flustered. The new generation of computer-game playing youngsters glued to their PlayStations, Xboxes and Game Boys already have some of those skills."
So if you want to join what already has been dubbed the “L33T” squadron and think you could fly €65 million aircraft, then go and visit your local army careers office.
Oh, just one thing. Your job is to dodge ground to air missiles trying to 'pwn' tanks. Like in BattleField 2, but with better graphics and no respawn points. Camping is also allowed.
