You too can run Crysis in 'Ultra High Quality'

A new custom configuration has been released courtesy of the Crymod Modding Portal that will increase the visual quality of Crysis to that of the 'Very High' DirectX 10 settings...

The final config. has been tweaked to run Crysis with 'maximum' quality whilst maintaining a relatively smooth frame-rate. The tweaks include:

Better shadows
High dynamic range rendering (HDR)
Parallax mapping
Very high quality textures, terrain and vegetation
Improved lighting effects
High-quality particle effects
Increased render distance
Better and higher ocean waves/improved water

The creator, Hélder "[HP]" Pinto is running this config. with an NVIDIA 8800 series graphics card, 2GB RAM and a 'fairly good' dual core processor.

High on the other hand runs perfectly.
