The Burer is one of the new monsters featured in the official announcement. He is a humanoid-type creature created as a result of secret service genetic experiments on criminals under a programme examining human telekinetic abilities development.
He is afraid of bright light and therefore dwells in only dark and gloomy underground and caves feeding on dead bodies.
The Burer uses gravitation to attack: in close combat he forces the enemy to back off, but is capable of levitating heavy objects and striking from a distance. He can hit weapons out of your hands using a directional gravity impulse. The key to defeating a Burer is to keep moving and aim for the head from a distance.
Following up on the events of the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game, 2007's Shadow of Chernobyl, Pripyat continues the survival-horror shooter series with new features.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat will see players take on the role of an agent in the Ukraine Security Service, sent on a mission into the Zone to collection information on a failed military operation and to discover what exactly went wrong.
STALKERHispano has discovered that the game will be released on 2 October in Russia whilst the rest of the world will no doubt have to wait a little longer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.
