Unreal Tournament 3: HOLP 3 Volume 2 released

The HOLP (Hardcore Oldskool Low Poly) team have released the second volume of the fantastic HOLP 3 pack for Unreal Tournament 3. These maps place an emphasis on a minimal use of graphical clutter, focusing instead on old school gameplay.

The aim of HOLP is to provide Unreal Tournament 3 maps with high quality gameplay, performance, and oldskool visuals. These maps are not meant to rival the graphics found in retail Unreal Tournament 3.

HOLP 3 Volume 2 features
12 new maps; 4 x CTF, 7 x DM, 1 x WAR
Minimum clutter, maximum gameplay and decent visuals
Contributing designers are professionally active within the games industry
Great performance
Wide range of themes and colours
No (or limited) bloom, depth of field, motion blur

if a game is really good, stick to it and dont wait for a sequel failure, quake 3/quake live (quake4), fear 1/fear combat (fear 2), cod1/cod2/cod4 (cod5, cod6), ut1/ut2k4 (ut3), cs (css) etc only game i have hope in is left 4 dead 2, dont laugh

We don't need a freeware release, game is almost free atm. What we need is some kind of competition mode, like quake and some other fps's have, to remove all the graphic effects and make the game playable for ppl with old pc's. We are in a world crisis and many many players wanted to play UT3 but can't afford a new PC. About the pack, it looks as good as the first ones but theres no one to play them.

These maps look promising. But we need a freeware release from epic games (i'm serious, they should do it) to turn the tide if we want to see them get played.
