What is the Fall 2010 Cup Season?
ClanBase hosts two kind of cups, OpenCups and EuroCups (often abbreviated to OC's and EC's respectively) starting in September and ending towards the end of December.
EuroCups are invite only cups, with the top teams from the communities being invited, while OpenCups are open to everyone. This season we plan to run cups for 26 games, 5 EuroCups and 60 OpenCups.
The Schedule
Fall 2010 schedule:
Sunday 22nd August - Season announcement / Open signups.
Sunday 12th September - Close signups.
Sunday 19th September - Announcement on IRC! All OC / EC groups published.
Monday 20th - OpenCup groups of cups without EuroCup qualifiers online.
Monday 20th - Wednesday 29th September EuroCup qualifier week.
Monday 27th September - Start of the first matchweek. (OC)
Monday 4th October - Start of the first matchweek. (EC)
Monday 11th October - Matchweek 3.
Monday 25th October - Matchweek 5.
Sunday 19th December - All matches should be played.

Where is my cup?
The list of cups shown here are not finalised, we do listen to the communities of each respected game and we may have a few late additions. So if you feel we are missing a cup - please let us know.
The NationsCup season
ClanBase will be running a NationsCup season after the Fall season, please expect an announcement about it this year. Even though this may seem early, now is the time to start thinking about the NationsCup season. And to prevent the discussion surrounding the scheduling for the next NationsCup we are informing you now that due date for the next season will be the 4th of October. This means that the NationsCup four-player rule will come into force from then and everyone in the same clan after that date is considered to be in the same clan for NationsCup rostering purposes.
Signup Information
Signups will be opened on the 22nd of August and you will be able to Signup via the cup pages and the Signup page found in your admin link. To signup as a team to ClanBase cups you will need to be part of a clan, for 1vs1 cups you will need to set up a 1on1 personality - for more information please read our FAQ.

The SC isn't deleted, just not in the menu anymore (by accident I guess?) - the iCTF 2v2 actually should be a UT3 Cup.

We are currently building a Game Crew for League of Legends. As soon as everything is done, we'll consider going for an addition.
And in case it takes a little bit longer than expected, we'll certainly think about a featured cup for LoL then. |

Let 's see if we can fill 10 ut1 cups with a decent amount of clans.
ut3 is missing a instagib cup. Since there are a few clans playing it I think clanbase should support it.
About LoL I think it is becoming ridiculous. A game that has 400 + players on ESL playing 1on1 doesn't have at least a ladder? I believe you guys can find someone, even from another game, to post some rules and run a Cup.
A lot of us contributed becoming VIP members and till now not much was done to at least ear our opinion about whats right or wrong. Not saying you' r work isn't appreciated because it is, otherwise I wouldn't have donated 1cent. |
