If you are unfamiliar with the pure awesome that is Deadpool, you surely have seen him in X-Men Origins: Wolverine portrayed by Ryan Reynolds. He also appeared in games such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Marvel vs Capcom 3 and animated movies like Hulk vs Wolverine.

The game was officially announced at the San Diego Comic-Con, is developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision.

Even thought there was a Q&A session, the target platforms or the genre of the game are unknown at this time.

Deadpool will be voiced by the well-known voice actor, Nolan North. This won't be his first shot at the Merc, so it won't be weird if you heard him speak in other games/movies.
