A few days back there was a bit of excitement because the promotional pre-order image of Medal of Honor: Warfighter flat out said that those who pre-order the game will get exclusive access to the Battlefield 4 beta.

This image was quickly removed, but the skilled people of the internet, as always, saved a copy before it happened.

Now on the official Battlefield site they confirmed the deal, but they are only stating that the Limited Edition of Warfighter will grant you the beta access.

Of course nobody is surprised that there will be a beta, since there has been one for practically every MoH or BF game since Bad Company 2. Getting access to the next one by pre-ordering the current has also been the practice.

The beta is said to launch in fall of 2013.
