ROCCAT, the Hamburg, Germany-based manufacturer of gaming peripherals, will be delivering big time at this year’s gamescom, (tomorrow ;-) August 15-19 in Cologne, Germany.
Besides showing off the revolutionary Power-Grid app for smartphones at the mega-event, ROCCAT will be showcasing two new power-oozing versions of the Kone gaming mouse, as well as unleashing the ultra-sleek and lightningfast ROCCAT Lua Tri-Button Gaming Mouse. And it won’t stop there: ROCCAT will be setting the gaming peripherals bar even higher with the world premiere of the ROCCAT Isku FX Multicolor Gaming Keyboard, featuring ROCCAT Talk and ROCCAT Talk FX technology.

ROCCAT will be presenting a totally new way to control games in the form of the already hotly-anticipated Power-Grid smartphone app – which gets its first public unveiling at gamescom (Hall 7, Stand A061).
Power-Grid lets gamers stay in constant contact with friends and teammates, displays PC stats, and lets players control their games and PC in real time – all without needing to leave the action going on in the gaming world. The smartphone app will be available as a free download.

Continuing on a winning course with bold new ROCCAT Kone models
With the ROCCAT Kone Pure Core Performance Gaming Mouse and ROCCAT Kone XTD Max Customization Gaming Mouse, ROCCAT will unveil two new laser mice that represent a pioneering stage in the evolution of the successful Kone pedigree.
For starters, both versions boast a high-performance 8200DPI laser sensor, signaling the new editions’ enhanced power. Plus, the quality of the components and finish has once again been improved immensely.
And ROCCAT has retained the original Kone shape for both versions – which, for many gamers, is still the best in the world.
By making the Kone Pure model’s shell smaller, ROCCAT has answered the community’s wishes for a slimmer Kone. In test after test with hundreds of gamers, the more compact Kone Pure model – which is 91% the size of the original Kone design – was voted to be the favorite design. ROCCAT expects to launch the Kone Pure and Kone XTD Q3 of 2012.

ROCCAT Lua: the classic 3-button mouse – injected with advanced gaming engineering The ROCCAT Lua Tri-Button Gaming Mouse, a classic 3-button optical mouse which will be available from the end of September, will also be in the spotlight of the European gaming scene. Injected with advanced gaming engineering and equipped with a fully configurable Pro-Optic sensor in a rugged, ultraslim, ambidextrous V-shape design – including No-Sweat side grips, soft touch surface and an eyecatching illuminated logo – the Lua fits every hand and unites control, comfort and style perfectly.

With its multi-color lighting in 16.8 million customizable colors, the Isku FX Multicolor Gaming Keyboard will surely grab visitors’ attention from the get-go – and then blow them away with its extensive macro functionality and integrated ROCCAT Talk FX technology.
Besides the fact that the Isku FX keyboard can communicate with Kone series mice thanks to ROCCAT Talk – delivering loads of killer set bonus gaming advantages – ROCCAT Talk FX technology now enables in-game events to be signaled via light effects on the keyboard and mouse. This doesn’t just create a more intense atmosphere – it also simultaneously delivers critical gaming information.

The cutting-edge technology and one-of-a-kind, innovative features of the new ROCCAT products are sure to get fans fired up. At the ROCCAT stand in Hall 7 (A061), gamescom visitors will be able to try out a range of new product prototypes not yet available to the general public.
