ClanBase is proud to announce the start of the Fall 2012 Cup Season. Signups are due to open on Sunday the 26th of August. However, as a little teaser please feel free to preview which cups we plan to run this season...
What is the Fall 2012 Cup Season?
ClanBase hosts two kind of cups, OpenCups and EuroCups (often abbreviated to OC's and EC's respectively) starting in September and ending towards the end of December.
EuroCups are invite only cups, with the top teams from the communities being invited, while OpenCups are open to everyone. This season we plan to run cups for 16 games, 4 EuroCups and 32 OpenCups.
The Schedule
Fall 2012 schedule:
Monday 20th of August - Pre-season announcement.
Sunday 26th of August - Open signups.
Sunday 9th of September - Close signups.
Sunday 16th of September - Announcement on ClanBase Radio!
Monday 17th of September - Start of EuroCup qualifier week.
Wednesday 26th September - End of EuroCup qualifier week.
Monday 17th - OpenCup groups of cups without EuroCup qualifiers online.
Monday 24th of September - Start of the first matchweek (OC).
Monday 1st of October - Start of the first matchweek (EC).
Monday 8th of October - Matchweek 3.
Monday 22nd of October - Matchweek 5.
Monday 23rd of December - All cups should be finished.

Where is my cup?
This list is not finalised and we listen to the communities of each game and we may have a few late additions. So if you feel we are missing a cup, let us know about it.
The NationsCup season
ClanBase will be running a NationsCup season after the Fall season, please expect an announcement about it this year. Even though this may seem early, now is the time to start thinking about the NationsCup season.
To prevent the discussion surrounding the scheduling for the next NationsCup we are informing you now that due date for the next season will be the 1st of October. This means that the NationsCup four-player rule will come into force from then and everyone in the same clan after that date is considered to be in the same clan for NationsCup rostering purposes.
Signup Information
Signups will be opened on Sunday the 26th of August and you will be able to signup via the cup pages and the Signup page found in your admin link. To signup as a team to ClanBase cups you will need to be part of a clan, for 1vs1 cups you will need to set up a 1on1 personality. For more information please read our FAQ.

This season we suggested to cup supervisors, they can use roster with 2 matches per week if community would want to. This way, cup could end a bit faster than usual.
