'Remember the 5th of November 2000, when Dj was born' -  ]*DJ*[NoMeArCy now an inactive player, long lost from the clan, once typed that on the very first Dj homepage, and it is still remembered.One of the older clans celebrate it's 10 year anniversary on 5th November. I talk ofcourse about iDOM and iTDM clan dRuNk JuNkieS. They have been around longer, than what most of the now active players even played this game online. If you want, you can read a little bit about how this could happen.- October 2000  £m@iL is playing around on the public servers or Barrys World and Demon UK as usual. Suddenly he starts a chat with player that have been around the same servers for quite a while. This player is a Russian living in USA, it's  Kalashnikov. Together they form plans that will become one of the longest running clans of today in the UT Scene.- 5th November 2000 - dRuNk JuNkieS is borned. I could be typing forever about this clan, but I have done this before, so I will just put up some stats instead. Just some story about Dj: The story about DJ is a typical history about a clan, but it's also a different story in many ways. Anyways, here it is, and I hope it will be an interesting piece off text to read. I have not taken any time to fix typos, so you have to live with it! It all started when I, Emil Arwin aka £m@iL had been playing UT for a while. I had played in clans like DEADLY and Dingo Aimers. I was bored with the fact that these clans never played any wars, so I decided to do something about it myself. I meet the Russian UT player(that live in USA) Kalashnikov aka Krono, on Demon UK UT Instagib DM like any other day when I played UT. There I asked him if he liked the idea of making a clan. He reminded me that it would be quite hard for him to be able to do anything cause of the time difference(he lives in USA and I in Sweden), but he liked the idea of making a clan. We agreed there by that I would do the clan leader work and he would just be one of the founders. He made the name up and I fixed the tag. After some thinking he came up with the idea Drunk Junkies and I thought it sounded cool. Back then he was supposed to represent the Drunk part and me the Junkie. The tag was decided to be ]*DJ*[. Drunk Junkies was formed 5th November 2000!!! The first player I took aboard in DJ was a Danish player called Diara. A 56k member with potential. He never played any wars though, but he made a name for DJ together with my next player on an early stage. The next player to join DJ was NoMeArCy(aka <ca>Hitman). He really helped me a lot in the beginning. Making the very first DJ website and also playing a lot of wars. To not forget he also sent me an 128mb SDRAM that I used for quite some time in my computer. (I only had 64 before he sent it to me). Anyways… I felt I would need some more players with a good ping to stand a good chance in competing, so DJ was still not having any wars. That’s when I one day found BLACK_MAGIC. He was winning every game he played and I asked him to join my clan. He was formerly a NW player, so that’s why I could get such a nice player into my rank. With him he also brought his brother Xander. The good thing about this is that BOTH shared the same ADSL connection and had ownage ping! They was also VERY good. Some more players joined, CoReYSlipKnot(now known as VaDeR or Dessi) he was on 56k back then, but impressed me by beating me(on ISDN) on healpod once. MrBuZz joined, another talented 56k player. System_F, joined with his cable. Eventually I also got Preacher, another very good, (x clan m8 from TXP), Belgium cable player and also HooK, a Dannish player with ISDN. Together they all formed a stabile team that could do wars. 2001 - DJ was ready to do some serious gaming! We started off with some games in Instagib TDM ladder, and it went very good. we played a close game vs PW and won vs DEADLY and several other clans. We was also in the Instagib CTF ladder and kicked some arse, but DJ was and still is mainly an iTDM clan. Simply because iTDM always have been and still is my big passion in UT. At some point [=RAID=](aka Crystalfat aka Bovox) from clan POEMA joined us and then we was very good in iTDM and really ok in iCTF aswell. RAID, BLACK_MAGIC, Xander, Preacher was a feared iTDM team, as they all had good ping. Dj iTDM ladder 2001 Dj iCTF ladder 2001 But things was only gonna be nice for a short while, glory can cost. I took in alot of player that I tbh was not ready to take in, it was getting a caos fo me to controll, and I made a bad mistage by deviding dj into 2 division that sucked big time since I was cl for both and it became even more work. Some members joined, DeViNe, Supreme and too many to remember. We started falling apart after players like System_F and RAID got kicked out due to bad behaviour like leaving in middle of a war and calling opponents stuff. And that is something I as clan leader can never tolerate. So I felt DJ was getting a little bad atmosphere and decided to call it a day. My top squad, BLACK_MAGIC, Xander, Preadcher and NoMeArCy and later on even me decided to join clan Clan Alba, after I told their clan leader that I offered all my members to them. Something I both regret since some of them got stuck there, but also something I think was nice, since I always have had a very nice relationship with Clan Alba. I was in that clan for about a year. Also I will get to a point later when I come back to why it was good. Anyways, DJ was officially dead, even if I always had hope about once in the future re-building it again. This was in April 2001 or so, after only half a year and only 4-5 months with wars. DJ = Officially dead. Here I made a space, because it contains a part for me and other players in other clans that have nothing to do with DJ really, but I, BLACK_MAGIC, Xander, Preacher, NoMeArCy was in Clan Alba. VaDeR was in InS/PW(new) and a lot of more things was happening. Old PW was dieing, WfH ownage took over, and so on. 2002 - Hope was not gone. After I left Clan Alba of personal reasons I made a short trip to AmD, but left quite fast as well, cause of other personal problems. I almost stopped UT active for a few months. Around Christmas BLACK_MAGIC told me he was quitting Clan Alba and setting up his new clan. That’s when I found hope in getting DJ back again. I my self started playing CTF with TGib as you all know, and after I became war-arranger there it was a lot of work, and not much time for DJ, but I did it slowly. The perfect match was that the founder of DJ the first time, Krono aka Kalashnikov, that now changed nick to LaSeD was not having any clan either. So I agreed to give it a go. DJ was resurecting in January 2002! Short after the re-start I made a news post about the resurrection and Xeper (x-AmD) told me that he and Sammy.k.(also x-AmD) was looking for a nice iTDM clan, so it was nothing to wait for. I took them in right away. We quite fast started playing some friendly wars and won them quite easy vs ClanHill and DemonSoldiers and I felt the time off ownage iTDM was coming back. BLACK_MAGIC becomes inactive and never return. Unfortunately for me BLACK_MAGIC suddenly disappear and just type a mail from time to time. He stop playing UT. He apparently blew his computer, had lag problems and was trying to move. On top of that he found X-box, so it was no chance of getting him back even if I tried. He was still a member of honour though. I could still find some new player to fill his hole. Since I was in TGib for iCTF I got to learn Ghozt and tempted him to join DJ, which he did. Also MoRric, Helvete, Toz(aka Tosh) and Supreme aka Luna-C joined about then. This gave us an ok team, winning vs MTS, Zenobit, DH, FSR and MI7 in iTDM ladder. Dj itdm ladder spring 2002 New tag! XePeR thought the old |*DJ*| tagg was worn out, so we sat down trying to figure out a new one. Finally he was also the one who figured it out. Dj` was set to be the new tag, and that’s what we still use today. Dj’s first Cup appearance! Unfortunately Ghozt became rather inactive in DJ after sometime, and I was too busy with TGib, so Dj came a bit in second hand. The iTDM cup became a disaster for DJ. We lost all games and got kicked cause of 2 no shows. This happened due to the factor I just mentioned, but also because Ghozt played iTDM for TGib, so it was not the same team that was represented in the ladder that was playing in the cup. At the same time Sammy was also inactive. This made the results terrible. Dj iTDM cup fall 2002 Late November or early December I decided I had enough of UT and officially quit. This also made DJ quit. I felt something was not right after a month or so and had to do something more. Dj almost dead but still a small fire can become a great fear if it grows. 2003 – The year of respected results During the Christmas I e-mailed famous players that was clan less or inactive and asked them if they was interested in giving UT another try with DJ. I managed to assemble an ownage team really. Players that joined: badaBOOM(aka Driver or Zeratul), KiLLeR, VaDeR(aka dessi), ChAoS(aka DeBuGGeR), HaZe(aka <ca>Hazard), Dissident(aka [DEATH]SonicReducer), Makabi, Budozero, Stryder, SmuRf(aka <ca>Tha_Rula. To this XePeR was temporally making a little comeback and Sammy was finally active in full scale again. Also Sifo and Ghozt from TGib was yet apart of Dj. You have to admit that is a really nice collection of players. Dj iTDM ladder spring 2003 We was winning some ladder wars easy and I was planning for the cup, but then people realized that they apparently had more interesting things to do somehow. KiLLeR left, Makabi left, Stryder broke his hand and left, ChAoS became inactive, BudoZero had to move, Sifo and Ghozt left when they left TGib and joined TF. I still was not giving up on the cup and I still had a nice squad remaining. DAMN joined as compliment and Tosh was active once again. I also recruited some players that I like as online friends. Vampyra and my (back then)favourite online girl LadyNina. Varname (that was also in DJ for a while during the autum 2002) completed it by re-joining, after some nice begging from me. Cup wars was played, we won some wars and lost some. The fact that makes me most proud is that we made it to the playoffs in all cups. iCTF, iTDM and iDOM. In iCTF cup we disabled GkC’s chance of reaching playoffs (with a team that had never played iCTF together). Dj iCTF cup spring 2003 In iDOM we succeeded beating the second placed SbD on our home map, that we(by then) had never lost a single game on. Dj iDOM cup spring 2003 In iTDM cup we succeeded beating WfH on one map(Malevolence) and playing two close other maps (Liandri and Codex). Dj iTDM cup spring 2003 After the cup some new members joined. Luxxiz, Tommyknocker(Outblast/Complex) and Chip. This lead to us continuing to win wars, and was rank #2 in iDOM ladder, top3 in iDM 2on2 ladder and top 5 in iTDM ladder at some point. One memorial war was when we turned a (335-383) loose on Malevolence into a win (733-661) after Liandri. How to turn a loose into a win – iTDM ladder spring 2003 Dj inactive – dead again? After this the summer came and with that inactivity. Vader aka Dessi joined WfH so we slowly lost him. Sammy.k. had his work and varname and XePeR also was not very active. Toz left the clan and with him followed the departures of Crazy, badaBOOM and Luxxiz. I felt kind of hopeless with this and decided maybe it was time for Dj to say good bye. What nobody expected was that in the fall Dj would be back stronger then ever. New season, “new” team End of July Danger joined Dj, that was also about the time I had the feeling. “Hey, I can do this again”. I managed to get some new players. Mainly due to sx not being able to keep them they came to Dj. Levy aka Asmodai was one of them. Also DAMN and Tosh (that played for sx after dj “died”) came back to Dj. Assassinator aka badaBOOM and KiLLeR came back as well. We started playing some praccys in ladders and we lost most of them, but on the other hand we wasn’t using the best line-up in those praccys and we was not far behind our opponents. Soon I could also add DeMoN to my team of strong fraggers. Once we started playing official wars there was nothing stopping us. From May 25 to November 17 we didn’t loose a single iTDM war. Also in the iDOM ladder most wars was won, but as we was rank #2 we mostly played friendly wars. I will come back to these results later. First lets talk about the Fall 2003 cups. Cup season fall 2003 This time we played in the iDOM and the iTDM cup. The iTDM cup this season was a EuroCup(the only one so far). We was placed in a pole with clans as AmD, AE, UTCG, AoD, WfH, TBUK, TF, more. We could succeed reaching playoffs and we was playing with the same team almost every war. KiLLeR, Hlv, DAMN, Tosh was the main line-up for this iTDM cup. HaZe played some wars also when needed, but he was not by far as active as the previous season. The most remarkable results I would say was winning vs more(later royal nw) that ended in third place when the cup was over. For Dj the cup was over after the quarterfinal vs TF. Dj iTDM cup fall 2003 In the iDOM cup we also was quite successful. We beat all clan in the group stage. When we faced FIG we could see the return off Assassinator(aka badaBOOM). The playoffs was going to be a dance in the park for the first round, but after some terrible bad luck, one of our key-players(KiLLeR) lost his internet and by that we also lost the entire war. So this cup ended for Dj after the 1/8 final. Dj iDOM cup fall 2003 The rest of 2003 During the rest of 2003 we played in the iDOM ladder and maintained our ladder postion, but we fell down to 3rd place now, as Royal was back and after them SbD. We also played in the iTDM ladder and kept winning and winning and winning. We actually won so much on iTDM ladders that we gained some first places. UT iTDM NL UT iTDM Europe UT iDM 2on2 zp We was also participating in the Extreme Instagib UT Hosted Cup were you could see our second attempt to play iCTF since this was a mix cup with all 3 modes(iCTF/iTDM/iDOM) involved. Once again we made it to the playoffs, but we had no chance there as our first playoff opponent was royal(who later won the cup in an impressive way). B then we also had sort of replaced a lot of the members. On top of this, the activity level was rather low. Dj did not play iCTF in ladder or Open Cup, so most members had other clans on the side. Here is a small list of changes during the rest of 2003. October: Joined: zwanz, Nirvana(aka Screamer) November: Joined: Athanatos November: Left: zwanz December: Joined: Marine, Ghozt, Clem, Finaltim December: Left: KiLLeR, DeMoN, Outblast(Complex), Chaos(Debugger) 2004 – How to consume players When the year 2004 started Dj was still doing ok in ladders looking at results. Although something was not really good. We lost some wars we should normally not loose and people started to get more and more inactive. Some people even said “Dj is going to die” etc. I was not going to let people have right however, so I did the (by then) only option. I decided Dj would go “one clan only” clan. I also kicked many of the inactive players. January: Players removed: Nirvara, Ghozt, Hlv, ATHANATOS, Xpr, LadyNina, Clem, badaBOOM, CyborgFx, BLACK_MAGIC. After that I recruited a whole bunch of players to boost up activity. Players that joined before the new cup season was: haulus, Static, Be4st, MaNiaC, Shano, sh00tm3. Dj signed again up for iTDM and iDOM cup. The iTDM cup didn’t go well at all, and we lost all wars but one. Dj iTDM cup spring 2004 The iDOM cup was going better, and Dj was still a strong iDOM team. With some amazing stupidity I challenged opponent on wrong day so 3/4 of the main team was not available. This also made us miss playoff, even if only, by one map point. Dj iDOM cup spring 2004 After the cup almost the entire team disappeared, but budozero was back and he was slowly getting back to old shape. This was not much comfort though, seeing a good team getting shred into pieces. This was of course my own fault, but its yet never fun. I recruited people and they left or got kicked in hordes during the next few months to try to get a decent team again. Here is a list of some players that passed in and/or out from Dj during the period February 2004 to July 2004: Hlv, Complex, Shano, sh00tm3, Cono, Firehawk, Beast, tosh, danger, MaNiaC, Static, DonMX, haulus, Levy, SlaNe(aka Incredible), Looney(trial), ZOoM(trial), Ilja(aka SpecialOne aka Genecom), Flipull(trial), RiK, Methix, Teqno(trial), ColdMute(trial), SandDown, Planga, Mind, Anarchy(aka Screamer), DAMN, XeNoGeaR(aka SNIPER), Senzi, MaRiNe, Sifo, Raiden, Athanatos, Hixxy, PiNo, xsivEz. As you can see that is a lot. Its actually way too much to build any team play. Even if we tried to play iCTF ladder to keep players in Dj it just didn’t help. There was however a small period of joy where we actually managed to get some nice wins in the ladders. Siper, Screamer & Mind clearly boosted up the iTDM results up a bit for a while. And at iDOM we was still ok, keeping the top 5. Thanks to my all so loyal players during this period Dj still survived, even if it was a hard test: Budozero, DAMN, Vampyra, RiK, Conjo, SpecialOne, Be4st, Methix Dj ladders spring 2004 Dj – To live of not to live, that’s the question During the summer once again just like other summers Dj got inactive (aka I got bored and decided to call it a day). I official said DJ was dead. I even renamed the clan to “RIP - DJ - 5th Nov 2000 - 24th July 2004 - RIP “ and left all ladders. When the fall came I however felt that maybe we could play the iDOM cup(and only that) if any players wanted too. That’s also what we did and after that we even played some ladder wars, but not much. Now Dj was just pure for fun, no results was demanded. We got placed in the second league and managed to get to playoffs, but we lost the 1/8 final vs ViRuS. Dj iDOM cup fall 2004 We also played in some other cups: UT InstaGib TDM Bloodbath Cup and UT iTDM 2on2 Cup. We did pretty well in those cups and managed to reach playoffs. Dj iTDM Bloodbath cup fall 2004 Some players that went in and/or out from Dj during the fall season you can find in this list: badaBOOM, PLANGA, Danger, Budozero, Class(aka mockingbird aka Incredible) For some weird reason I killed Dj and said “This is definitely the end of Dj” but as you should have known by now. You never know with Email. 2005 – Let’s remove Dj from clanbase As I had decided it was really the end for Dj I thought I might as well remove Dj from ClanBase. First I removed Unreal Tournament from my computer. Then I removed every member from Drunk Junkies on ClanBase. I killed Q in the channel #|DJ| and L in the private channel. After that I asked Qtax (TGib) to remove me from Dj. He said “no problem” and I added him to Dj ClanBase account. He removed me and was going to kill Dj once and for all after my request. For some reason ClanBase refused to let Dj die. It was shown that even if Dj had left the cups UT InstaGib TDM Bloodbath Cup and UT iTDM 2on2 Cup the cups was still running. This meant that Dj could not be removed from ClanBase due to “pending wars”. Well, just wait then I thought. That’s what we did for 2 months. A new hope! As Dj still was not removed from ClanBase, suddenly one day Asmodai aka Levy sent me an e-mail and asked me to re-start Dj again. That’s when I suddenly had energy again to try something. I started off with adding Asmodai. After that more players followed. SexMachine. digZ, ZOoM, Nightshade, SkaN, G-mac, Propeller, Methix, DmX, MeXx, foxman, Abdel (aka Hercule), Psty, Brutal(trial), MnC, Des(trial) to be precise. Multi clan? Dj also started playing other modes and games. Asmodai found a counterstrike clan that started to play for Dj in ECL. The members that joined are as follows: ONEIL, Bushido, Inferno, HaDeS, n0cKeL, Sid. The first war was a win. We was also gonna play some other games like UT2K4, WC3, CS:S, GW, but that is too see how it goes in the future I guess. To be able to play other games we recruited some players. The players that was in Dj for sometime because of (insert reason here) was this: n@n$stuk0, nEsToR, Vicky. They have never played any official war, but I think they played some praccys. The main focus for my part of Dj was still on UT and we signed up for cup in June. The first cup appearance for seven months. This time it was the UT iDOM 5on5 Old-Skool Cup 2005. We lost all wars, but who cares. The most important it the fun after all. Considering this game is over 5 years old now. Dj iDOM 5on5 Old-Skool cup spring 2005 2005 also meant that we was once again back in ladder games. We have not reached any results that is as good as 2003, but we are on our way. I am proud to say that it looks better now, than it did the last 1,5 years and I am enthusiastic about the future. During the summer some old members came back and that also made it look better. Actually here is a list of members who joined during the summer: Rocky, Hixxy, DAMN, Genecom, Sjimz, CyborgFX, F4NK(trial), Athantos, tosh Now we have just played our 500th war vs Penguinz and that is just amazing considering all we have gone through. This may not be something that anybody is interested in, but atleast I know, I will never forgett the times with Dj. Befor you read the rest, if you intend to, do not mark words, and if you can't find the text read worthy, do not read it. Do not comment if you are only intending to complain, or hurt someone. Do not care about my typos, or grammar. If you do so, go get a psycologist, cause I think you need to fix your mental problems, if have to hack down on people. Simply, read this and enjoy reading it. My friends in UT will understand that this is not some way to get attention, cause I had enough of it. I been in enough clans to get attention. And yes, I am still going to NL and yes I am still gonna have lan party in my town... now read, if you are interested. Dj have never won a cup. Dj have never been one of those 1337 clans that all other clans feared to meet. Dj have never ever, been involved in a match conflict and lost it. Dj have never ever, played using unfair methods. Also we have always listened to the oponent, and most of the time, we have given them the right, as long as they did not cheat, or in an other way, tried to let their grief for winning go infront of fair play. I think not many people with disagree that Dj have always been a fair clan. Mabe to fair, but rather fair and square, then rotten, to the bottom. Altho, Dj have still achived a few things among the road. We also been partecipating in no more then 12 cups of different kinds. We reached playoff in both iTDM Euro Cup, iTDM Open Cup aswell as numerous iDOM cups and even iCTF Open Cup. I guess that one of our best result was still to beat SbD in iDOM Spring cup 2002 Groupstage war on 1 map, and also same year beating WfH on 1 map in iTDM cup. But there are more equaly strong performances. Mabe the strongest performace of them all, was to actually survive this long in a fadeing gameing scene, with cheaters, lamers, egos, bad loosers and you name it. Many clans have faded away much faster for less. Actually, about half a year ago some people told me dj will die soon simply because I wanted to clear out dj at the moment from unloyal players. But as they know, they was wrong, Dj didn't die soon and we played for many months. Some of them even came back when I asked them too later on. Activity Dj` have played a total of 411 matches, of which they challenged 220 themselves. The past 30 days they played 16 matches in 7 different ladders. Now after all, I am gonna let them have right, because I am simply tired of "as I would say" This bull shit. I am not intending to spend more time of my life, acting some sort of leader for people from all over Europe in a game, created so long ago it's almost emberrasing it's still beeing played. But, trust me, I do not blaim the game, nor do I blaim the people playing it, I only blaim myself. Tbh I still enjoy playing sometimes, but what good use those it make when 90% of the time I get more pissed of, then I get happy. I have simply had enough. This doesn't mean I quit from this game I still love. Cause I doubt I can, and you know how I mean many of you I guess.  It just means Dj will quit, and I will not leave it over to anyone else to carry on. Becaue it was something I once created, so I also want to end it. Dj on clanbase will remain as memory flash to look back on. But I intend NOT to make any comeback with dj again. I really done that too many times. I also do not intend to write an esseay about DJ. I done that enough aswell. I think all this typed up here is well enough for a normal quit. After a lot of sucesfull fun times with DJ. I meet a lot of players with DJ. And I have to many members to mention anyone. Except for purhapse my co-former that still play UT (Krono aka Lased aka Smoked) . I just wanna say it was a great time, but even great times end. DJ was never a very famous clan, but we was not clan of n00bs either. It was alot of nice and known players in it. And we did achived a few things but never really got all the way. But now DJ is going into a hibernation. And won't be back for wars. I personaly will quit UT for good now. And this time I am NOT comming back. No begging or asking on irc or I will personaly make sure ******. There are a lot of reasons. But let me say a few main things: My body hurts of all computer using. My life sux.(I need work, irl friends and irl love(who don't ))My inspiration and ability to move on with UT is equal to minus one (-1). Alot of players now play for other clans instead of DJ, or are inactive, and since I don't wanna start it all up again I rather quit when it's on top. Dj died officialy in december, but you never know what await So now we are in an expanzive phase and have made a new team called Drunk Junkies Team ][. Vampyra is the clanleader of that team. We also have two 2on2 teams. Anyways, we made a CTF section, and I don't expect us to be as succesfull in that as in TDM and DOM ofcourse, but I still hope we will have some fun. First some notice about this post. It might be concidered as lame or so, or you might just think I am trying to draw the publics atention to me. But that's not the fact. I just wish to say good bye to UT since I can't make a clan movie. (To stupid ) I also want to dedicate this post to in general all gamers, but specially all UT players and most off all to all UT Instagib players threw the years. You might infact find it nostalgical.I have known quite a few players / people during the almost 3 years I have played this game online, but I will come to that part later. Anyways, i hope clanbase will alow this post at the newsitem.  Infact I ahve problems to know where to start, but lets start with how it all began. Once up in a time a irl-friend of mine(called Gangsta) wanted me to come to his LAN-party he was gonna have, cause he had a so cool new game and we was all abit tired of Quake and Warcraft II. (December 1999) Anyhow this guy showed me this new cool game called Unreal Tournament (future mentioned as UT in this news post). We sat down a bounch of kids and really enjoyed it. I was 18 by then and was going 2nd year of 3 at highschool so I had quite alot time for gameing. Altho broadband was not exactly anything usual by then and I was happy enough to have a 33.6 modem o_0. My m8 Gangsta had a 28k. Anyways, we as said really enjoyed the game and started to play it more often and we find out that button that said: "Find internet games" and we pressed it. By a coinsidence we found some server that we pinged pretty good to. Aproximal around 300 for me and 400 for him. So we started to play it online everyday. Eventually I found out I was getting owned by everyone and especialy by this dudes from clan DEADLY. SoSa_DEADLY_NL (as their ta+name was by then) was my first online connection in UT and has always been one of my absoulutefavourite dudes. The entire DEADLY clan was DEADLY cause they all had cable and their shoots came bloody fast. I anyways tryed to do a tryout but failed cause we played Liandri, and while me having a xcore of 5 or so he had 30.  . I fighted on tho and eventually my area got ISDN and I was like yeeehaaw and I got suddnly half the ping to ITALY and ever better to Uk that gave me around 120 f1. (Never check the f6, cause that was nobody botherd about then. My IRL-Friend Gansta found Counterstrike and numerous off other games and I left him in the online gameing and went my own way....My next meeting with a clan was some frensh cool dudes called DINGO. Dingo aperently mean something like crazy in frensh I got the knowledge about and that was cool. I asked to join them, and I aperently had prooved myself worthy and could join. I got to know couple of very cool dudes there. SepticFlesh (That must have been one off the best, and also learned me to get voice boss on male skin ), Duy(aka Zero) and Pharm, InFlames, some other guys that I dont remember the name on and so on. After a while this clan renamed themself to DA = Dingo Aimers and the new tag became ]*DA*[£m@iL. I never played a single wasr for this clan cause I was not serious enouhg when it came to wars by then, I just plaeyd DM for fun. The ironic here is that this clan actually played a war vs the clan that was my last active serious clan. vs TGib and DINGO pwned them on Morpheus. In the end this clan became more and more Normal Weapons(future moer named NW) and less and less inactive. In the end SepticFlesh and Zero decided to go completely to NW, and InFlames became inactive for a while. This was still when GoD with KiLLeR, Matrix, Antiflow and GoGGa etc owned the insta scen, and I normal got owned by Digital in DM, but once he has s strange nick I never will remember. And that time I actually beat hime once on Codex. , I meet the cool dudes Xeper and Sammy_K from AmD (or made it was luut back then) and they owned me completly. I also learned to know DevilsAdvocate here from clan A-A. And I saw some guy called Your_dad from the same clan that I thought at that time must have been very good lol. This was also the time where there was some Polish players instagib. The famous campers clan. They all had _PL at the end, and by now I only remember one and that was Mozna_PL. There was also a funny guy / girl (I never found out) with girl skind that was called June, that always camped on every map. Not always succefull tho. I also go to learn to know Darkness (no days know as RATH|DEADLY|GER and Mr_M@d, Cyberslut, Khelben, Blasphemer and a few more cool dudes that was in the clan bBu by then. Notice I still jumped like hell now! No dodging. Damn I miss does old barrysworld / demon / skynet days. Hmm would should I say more here... oh well.. eventually this Dingo Aimers quit instagib and I moved on alone as clanless........I found this other cool clan called TXP (The Xtreme Punnishers) that I thought was cool, and I learend to know a few guys. Corouptor, Cynomoth, Eredicator(I think), Shi_Shi and a few more. Unfortuanly this clan called TXP had a very short (but effective) influence on me, cause the cl Eredicator left before I joined. The new cl Cynomoth left 1 week after and the co-leader Corouptor left 2 weeks later, so there was only me and Shi_Shi left and we went sepereate ways now(I altho learned to dodge now BIG STEP).... I had to do something now, so in a desperate attempt I tryed to start my own clan called World Wide Winner lol... but I gave up after 3 days and the only member Venom joined DIE_HARD. Anyways, that was that clan let's go to next Next step was the DEADLY clan. I had ISDN now as I said and could give the worst people in Deadly a hard game. The best still I have no chance against like MAN and SoSa but still I was happy enough and could join. I get to know the cool players: Sosa, Man, Para, Orc, Baco, Fox, FRAG, WAR, SIR, DEMON. I also got to learn most cool guys in DIE_HARD then. Guys as Joint_One, Slayer, Maddog, Cyph, Girly(I think), Gorn, Alpha, Patriot and a few more, dont remember all sorry. I was there for a few months but to my disapointment they never wanted to play any wars and I was in urge to do so cause I had tryed 3 clans before this for wars but all failed, but now i thought damn, I WILL play wars so I left DEADLY.I started my own clan toghether with a cool dude a knew a time online on the server. He was from USA(lived there, born in Russia, and always drugs or drunk) tho.. and played with a modem = Ping 200 as best. His nick was Krono aka Kalashniov and we decided to start the clan with the following conditions: Krono ficugre out the name and I make up the tag and take care of all the aranging. ]*DJ*[ Drunk Junkies. (5th November 2000) was formed. At this time GoD was getting beaten by rYs and PW was gonna take shape and start to battle vs H2D. Also it was still pretty easy to find players on publics that owned and could join a clan. I must say I had very lucky. First I found NoMeArCy(now in Clan-Alba as [ca]Hitman) from UK. A old skool fragger with ISDN that made the first homepage for DJ. Later on I found MrBuZz on Modem.(now inactive but in The Barberians as ´{TB}BuZzy. This was a good start, I had something to go on! I still needed a few more guys tho. I found some cool danish modem player caled Diara that use ScarjSkin, he never became active unfortuanly cause I had to move and during this time not much happened and he left. After that I found Agenth_Smith, but so many guys thought he used aimbot or something so he left. (He said he didnt have time anymore) Now the happyest time of my UT carrier come, this is when I found the 2 brothers. BLACK_MAGIC and Xander. these dudes from Uk could put fear in any clan and they both OWNED. We started entering a few ladder. iTDM and iCTF. With time I found CoreySlipKnot (that for you knowledge is PW-Vader now. pwned! Altho he had Modem by then and ping was normal not under 300. I also found System_F aka firstarter, but he got kickec ause of leaving in wars. There was also HooK (now days rWa) and some friend of Xander caled Lord_Fear that played acouple of wars. One addition that meant a whole lot to me aswell was Preacher (my t-team m8 in TXP that was called Shi_Shi then) he was on beligum cable *sigh* but we had a ownage team by then with out lineup: BLACK_MAGIC, Xander in defence. NoMeArCy and Preacher and myself in attack. We had Gauntlet as home map and had some nice wins. For example we beat the old famouse Target was oend back then. to not mention TDM, but that I will come to later. Eventually I found =RAID=, and he was the begining and the end of a super time for DJ. We got bloody good in TDM with RAID, BLACK_MAGIC, Xander and Me and Pracher. (It was 5 on 5 by then) and we beat the hell out of many clans. DIE_HARD, DEADLY, MTS, and quite a few more clan we claim the victory over. Our stregnth was the none of us was really bad. Even PW was supriced and said we put up a good fight. Cuse we actually had bad ping vs them on 2 players. And remember their lineup with KiLLeR and Crystal. But now this was also a sad period, cause RAID brought something to me I will never forgett, and that was how you shall not act after a loose. He started to go out over PW and a few others clans and I warned hm but he left by himself. I do felt by then I had gone to far and I was not happy and wanted all to end and I killed DJ. Now this was not the end of my UT carrieir tho. I had learned to know <ca>Hazard and <ca>bop3xzr (I always forgett how) and they was both clanless when I got to know them, I asked them to join but they both got offers from Clan Alba <ca>. Altho old DJ normaly beat <ca> in CTF praccy's if I recon right. Anyways, Clan Alba has always been a very coo, bunhc of dudes and still is so when I killed DJ I said to the clanleader of Clan Alba <ca>Dougs, that i offer all my members that was left to them. They took in 4 of them. BLACK_MAGIC, Xander, Hitman, Preacher. This means the 4 best remaining of my clan. (Clever dudes ) Anyhow, I myself became clanless for a while untill I in the spring on 2001 FINNALY got ADSL!!!!!!!!!!!! I became super good for a while and i even won a friendly 1on1 vs KiLLeR (even tho I think he dont think so, but I was playing to 30 frags and had 30-28 win, but he said he played for 10 minutes, and so he eventually won Pitty, atleast I tryed. He must have been abit supriced tho cause we played 2 more maps after and he really was super good suddenly, and beat the crap out of me hehe. I heared they talked about me after. I finnaly felt I was ready again for clans and that's when I asked dougs in Clan Alba.....Since many of themknow me they wouldn't hesitate to let me join and I was very happy to be there. I got to know Jim, Qaz, Dougs, Janoz, Joe (that I knew before along time from publics), and to many to remember. Catif, Harlequin, Silversurfer aka Dejay, Kraken aka Titan, Mondhaschen, Fredaos (that I asked if he could join <ca>, The_Rula(that really rules), Hofblun. I probably forgott someone. Sonic_Reducer I also got to know, cause I played a few 1on1 wars now. I relised doging to much wasen't to good so I learned a few new steps to move. Side to side, and circlestrafing. It actually took me to a victory over AoS_Nukleus and over C|rca and I came as far as nr 9 in 1on1 ladder (And the ladder wasen't a joke by then), eventually I meant Hypno and Matrix tho, and came down on earth. Clan Alba played quite a few wars, and I was even war fixer for a little while. Also I was back with my DJ m8's. Unfortuanlly I came in conflict with one of the players and couldn't continue, so I left (that's a way to log story for this post). I became clanless again....Is it boring yet? Now I was clanless and I was running around the server not knowing what to do. DIE_HARD asked me, and a few other clans. The coolest offer I ever got was from a well established instagib CTF clan. It was from AmD. Mave it was by influence from my job with getting Clan Alba quite high in the ladder, or mabe it was with the job for DJ, but I mostly think it was for the old days I knew Xeper and Sammy that Grububats asked me in private message if I wanted to join. I think he thought I wasen'ät exactly very good, but I can promisse that even if i was not good enough to help AmD to stay intop 5 I was still in my best shape off UT ever cause I played it constantly since I had no school and nothing to do. (September 2001). I joined AmD abd changed my nick to [AmD]Die!. I played not so many wars but some and I remember beating old (good PiK) on 2 x Das-Bollwerk for jolt league with 1-0 both maps and I was a defender Even [AmD]Lightning was impressed. I learned to know Lightning here, and DarkShark, and Diabloo, and a few more [AmD] guys. I lasted for a few months, but this constant had a back factor. I started to get a pain in my shoulder and wrist and had quit. I stopped UT almost completely for 3 months, and left AmD and was clanless during this time.....Then the zeroping scen got me when i took a game on a public server, and It was [LDJ]=Rectum=Killer= that thought I was good in zeroping and i still think that is one of my best kind of modes in UT instagib,, but I never liked the scen was so small. He anyways encourage me to join [LDJ], Lovacko Drustov Jelen (end of Demember 2001). And eventually I gave up. I also almost at the same time got a request form Qtax in [TGib] that had been askeing me for years to join TGib, and I couldn't say no to him either (Begining of January 2002). I had also as if this was not enough the hope to re-start my own clan DJ and that happend in Fabruary 2002. SO now I had 3 clans... *sigh* First I will take the LDJ part. I played much wars for LDJ, both 4on4, 5on5 and 2on2. I also think I helped them get quit far in the 2on2 ladder as I concider myself as a good zeroping player back then. (Getting a bit slow now) and Even 5on5 I could make thos ownage caps makie draw in close games. Anyhow, LDJ really had some cool people. I got to know these ownage people during my time in LDJ: Penetrator, Rectum=Killer, Abe, Ad_Libitum, Barberian, C-Moh, Gladiator, Gorg, Inter, Nobody(this guy didn't like me at first but I think we both find eachotehr cool now ), Replay, Serious, Sun, The_Brain and finnaly but not less Thihimaster (thihihih) They have on here homepage: "The coolest clan on earth!" And why not? They are really cool! I had the previlige to be with these dudes for a long time, but eventually i left them cause of a few reasons.I will not get to either TGib or DJ here, but to a Instagib Domminaton clan that I was in for like 3 weeks and only played 2 wars for. As I said I was uber busy with clans for a while and actually was in this clan aslwell and gave me threfor 4 active clans! I got to know: An_Act_of_God, Petakiri, Croc, Krause, Ego, and more and more, but i cant say all getting tied of typing, need to save some to the last part of this post. Anyhow, as u can guess it was to uch with 4 clans so I quite fast left. Altho the short time in there was nice and they really rock Instagib Dommination. Now I am comming to TGib. This clan I joined in January 2002 and I have been there ever since, also I swear this will be my last clan for UT and I still say so. This had been the clan I achived the most in and also the place I have felt most peace as a player. They gave me the learning of useing voice communication. They also gave me a lot more. For example they gave me the first ever LAN party with a clan I ahve been on. To just mention the players that I meet during the time here first they are: Qtax, GhozT, Predator, Manga, Moby, Sparta, Blades, Orrie, BananaSplit, Sifo, Oggy, Driver, Quicksilver, C|rca. I might have forgott someone, tell me about it. Anyhow, most off this was just nice and was relly mega big plesure the entire time. OFcourse we had our ups and downs like all clans but I must say Qtax has always been strong and kept it appart. Anyhow, I am more then happy with me time with TGib. Thanx guys!Now to DJ. I will do the same here. I wanted to re-form my old DJ but only got 3 x players back (exluding myself) and that was BLACK_MAGIC and Krono and Gieso, aka Kalashnikov aka Blazin aka LaSed. I did get a few other ownage fraggs that came and went or stayed till the end, and they are in same random order as the TGib members was: BLAC_MAGIC, Krono, Xeper, Sammy_K, vArNaMe, LadyNina, Helvete], MorriC], Freeman, Holyphoe, Chip, Vampyra, toz, Supreme aka Luna-C, GhozT, Jay_k, OhHum, Gladiator, Gorg, MrBlack, Meance, SanDown, Gieso and probably more that I forgott. Sorry about that. This time DJ was jsut for fun and we became top 5 in both iTDM and iTDM 2on2 and iCTF 2on2 for a short while when I had ownage players active. Quite good condidering only for pure fun. Also nr 1 in Scandinavia Instagib CTF 2on2 where nobody have beated us yet. LoL! Thanx all for the fun we had, caue Dj was ONLY for fun and we all knew Anyhow, now times have past and as last I want to add what I have achived myself, and what makes me saticifed enough to end this carrier as UT isntagib player in clans and wars. With TGib: Nr 1. Instagib CTF Scandinavia. Only 2 looses and not beated since 11th February and we got now 16 straight wins in the ladder. Currently 1579 points and that's record for that ladder if I dont remember wrong. Top 10 in Instagib CTF 2on2 Tutorial. 12 wins and 1 draw and 6 looses since I joined. Top 5 in Instagib CTF Internationel. 28 wins, 2 draws and 13 looses since I joined. Beating "new" PW as 2nd clan in the ladder after WfH and also the re-match playing draw. Going to playoffs in 3 cups in highest division: * Instagib CTF Cup Spring 2002 * Instagib CTF Euro Cup Autum 2002 * Instagib TDM Open Cup autum 2002 (not out yet). With Drunk Junkies: * Top 10 --> 7 wins and 3 looses in iTDM Ladder * Top 5 --> 7 wins and 2 looses in iDM 2on2 Ladder * Top 10 --> 10 wins and 2 looses in Instagib CTF 2on2 Tutorial Ladder * Top 10 --> 5 wins and 1 loose in Instagib CTF Zeroping 2on2 Ladder * Rank 1! --> 9 wins, 1 draw and 0 looses Instagib Scandinavia 2on2 Tutorial Ladder. * Highest division of iTDM Open Cup 2002 and probably the frendlyest loosers With LDJ: Winning lots of wars and getting to nr 1 in Instagib 2on2 Zeroping CTF Ladder. Personaly: Nr 9 in Instagib 1on1 Ladder. 32 wins and 25 looses! And never leaving the ladder or creating a new account, cause I hate loosning! I just play for FUN! Doing something for the scene by taking a demo from a player into clanbase and thereby getting rid of a cheater. (I am not pround of this tho, just that I think it would be nice for people to know how to blaim if they dont agree with me) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Finnaly I would have liked to mention all the UT players that I played with, but reliced it will go way over border of name and i can impossible remember all, and since I dont wanna miss anything I think I stopp here, the story about me and my clans. At last I instead want to take the oportunity to thank all players and clans through out the years that have supported the game to go on and to keep it fair. It has been a wonderfull time really concidering all. Everything after all comes to an end, and here is the end for me. I will after this post delete myself from Drunk Junkies and from TGib so that I dont have a login anymore for these clans. I also will delete myself as 1on1 players from 1on1 UT Instagib since I aint gonna play more wars of any kind in UT. Who knows waht waits behind the corner. Mabe I will be back in an other game someday. Since I a the war-fixer of TGib this means that is now handed back over to Qtax and I know he will do a great job just as he did before I joined. Also I am clanleader or DJ and this will mean DJ can't continue, Nobody wants to take over leadership so I will just pass it to one of my inactive members and if he ever gets back he might take into concideration to give DJ a try again.
