Sweden has won the thirteenth edition of Clanbase NationsCup, after defeating Norway with a 2-1 score.

Just like last year, Sweden have been crowned winners of Clanbase NationsCup, adding another victory to their impressive list which states seven total wins.

Sweden unleashed their revenge over Germany early in the play-offs stage, beating them with a 2-1 scoreline, sending them out of the championship. Furthermore, the Swedes managed to beat Poland in the following round with the same score.

Norway have also shown impressive play in the championship, notably when they sent Ukraine and Spain out. Although Norway put up a good fight, Sweden ended their streak yesterday, securing them the seventh victory.

Starting out on de_inferno, Sweden took control over both halves, stating a 16-7 win. Moving onto de_train, Norway showed Sweden that taking the victory would not be a walk in the park, and Sweden ultimately had to see themselves defeated 16-12.

Last and final map was de_tuscan, and to make the first half-time summary short, Sweden ran over Norway like a freight train, winning 14-1. Norway displayed a brief comeback, but lost to a 16-6 score.

Thirteenth NationsCup and a seventh title for Team Sweden! I guess this says enough. The best Counter-Strike nation have done it again. After three months of competing, it was down to these two to give us the winner, and in the end it was Team Sweden who managed to beat Team Norway and retain the NC title.

Two great CS nations had to face each other in the semi-final. Team Poland gave their best, but in the end it was Team Sweden coming out on top in a match that was ruined by some DDOS attacks and connection problems. Other than that, it was a high-quality match where both teams gave all they had, but only one could advance.

Team Sweden will now be looking to capture their 7th NC title in XIII edition, and standing in their way are Team Norway who also showed some great performances this season.

Team Poland started the match really strong, going into a big lead as CT on nuke, taking 11 rounds. Team Russia replied in the second half, and forced the match into last round, but it was Team Poland who were more concentrated, taking the map 16:14.
Team Russia had some connection problems on train, but they battled hard. Still, it was Team Poland who were better on the day, taking the match and setting up a dream-clash against defending champions Team Sweden.

Norway will have another shot at NC title after they've managed to beat Spain in the first NC XIII semi-final tonight.

Norway played really well throughout the both maps and have deservedly won the game in the end. hellzerk in particular was in great form, scoring 52 overall.

Team Germany have been defeated for the first time since NC XI, after a great match where Team Sweden just managed to get out on top.

After some problems at the start of the Nations Cup, Team Spain have now managed to pull it off and have qualified for semi-finals for the first time in NC history. Team France was standing on the opposite side, but Spain played really well, and managed to take the match after very hard 3 maps.

They will next face either Ukraine or Norway for a place in the final.
