I feel like it's not the time for making speeches so I rather go straight to the point and say... thanks to the Urban Terror community and to all ClanBase and especially Urban Terror crew I've worked with during the years.

It was, most of the time, fun being a part of this community, whether as player, cupadmin, Cup Supervisor or Game Supervisor. I will surely miss it. During the years I've seen so many ppl come and go, it wouldn't make much sense to thank anyone in specific. Instead a "thank you" to the ones doing a good job and putting their time and effort into Urban Terror, you pretty much know how important you all are.

Like every season when Christmas arrives we have to say goodbye to the OpenCup Fall season.

With 100 registered clans this has been the first Urban Terror season with 5 divisions. That means some clans had to play in a lower division than last season, but that was completely necessary to run the cup with similar number of clans per division, anyway the teams who deserve it will play next season in a upper division and I hope they enjoyed taking the top 4 of their league, same way for last clans of each group, those will play in a lower division next season, of course this just will be possible if we have the same number of divisions next season.

As expected in a tournament with such an inscriptions and lot of new clans we had to show a lot of cards, maybe we could show even more, luckily this haven’t been the season with more cards, but has been close. The reasons of this cards has been always the same: players not listed at APL, wrong nicknames, lack of demos, so we just hope those clans have learned and next season won't make the same mistakes.

Run this type of competition with five divisions isn't easy, even more having a lack of members in the ClanBase UrT Crew , so my apologies for the delay uploading some scores and reports. For next seasons I encourage you to join as referees/writers to upload at least your own scores, that’s how I started.

At last thanks to all the people who was helping to run the cup, specially to dan who has been around after all those years, the guys from UrT-TV , they made an excellent coverage from all the important matches of this cup and the referees/writers who uploaded reports, specially destr0y , who has been one of the most active admins in the Urban Terror Cups history, with nothing less than 55 reports. Without them this cup hasn't been the same.

Besides the end of cup, we have to announce that a really special guy will finish his work at ClanBase. dan started as Cup Supervisor in September 2005, although he already was admin a couple of seasons ago, where I meet him. During the last six years he has been supervising 12 OpenCup seasons, devided into 6 Fall and 6 Spring Cups, 3 Nations Cups, 2 Summer Cups, 2 Seasonal Ladders, Ladder Supervisor since August 2007 to September 2011 and Game Supervisor from August 2007 until now, also he has been Supervisor of OpenCups and EuroCups of different games like CS:S, DoD:S, FIFA, PES and the task as ClanBase Chief of Cups, I'm sure I forgot some.

In my opinion and also from other people, dan is one of the most respected guys in the Urban Terror tournament scene and one of the best supervisors (if not the best) that ClanBase had, thanks to his honesty and work, has been a pleasure to work with him. Not so many people has given to this game at competitions so much as him. He always will have a place in the Urban Terror Crew. We will miss him, good luck.
