United Kingdom for the crown

The fifteenth edition of ClanBase NationsCup will come to an end for Enemy Territory this Sunday! Some high quality games have been played and two best teams made it through to the final stage. Coming from the upper bracket we got

Team United Kingdom who has managed to gather one of the strongest and most stable team ever, and on the other hand we got quite a surprising finalist

Team Poland.

United Kingdom hasn't lost a single game in this tournament so far (only one map against

Team Sweden!). Poland have already met with Brits in Upper Bracket Final where they didn't manage to take up a fight and lost 0-4. Although Poles weren't a favorites for the final victory, they have managed to beat some of ET's finest nations such as

Finland,

Belgium or

Netherlands.

This Sunday 01 April 2012, at 21:30 CEST, team Finland will face The Netherlands in the fifth round of the lower bracket of NationsCup XV.

The two teams are equally skilled, even Finland play more finals at high level then Netherlands. Team Finland beat Germany beat in the fourth round of the lower bracket last week while team Netherlands beat Belgium on the same round

xPERIA : In order to win this time we can't afford to have any mistakes like in our previous games, Finland is on top of their game again with Olbaa returning, all I can say is that it's gonna be a good one and hopefully a great game for the viewers

twidi : Our performance against UK was really dissapointing so after that we made slight adjustments in the lineup and started to practice more with the same 6 players. We still have some problems with the unstability of our performances, but it's getting better and I'd hope that we will still get our revenge on UK in this tournament.
NL has a really solid and active lineup and they've been performing well lately.
Our praccs against them have gone both ways, recently we won them with a slightly weaker lineup (codelust) and after that they managed to beat UK so it's pretty hard to make anything out of that.
It won't be an easy game, but I think that we now have what it takes to win and winning NL will be our next step

22:53 France established a superb bank defence, it was impossible for Norway to take to gold. Now the pressure is on the frog`s shoulders. they have to set a time. Otherwise we will see a second decider!
22:45 Poland was too strong for the Czech`s. 4-0 for Team Poland
22:40 CET Another sneaky action by Snuble brought Norway the tank - 12:38 left on the clock!
22:34 CET sw_goldrush_te will be the decider for France vs. Norway (Norway is attacking) and Poland have done another fullhold on Radar just as a small sidenote
22:29 CET France is pushing and Norway is in trouble. We most likely go for a decider!

With the thrilling conclusions of the Group Stages, the Nationscup is now moving on to the Play Offs! Over the weeks we have seen some epic games, as well as expected one sided games, all leading down to the final 16 Nations who had the skills, gameplay and the luck to go on. With the Playoffs, the danger of losing and falling out of the competition hasn't become any smaller. With the addition of a Double Elimantion there will even be more games

Ukraine : - direct removal from the NationsCup XV, due to breaking the ClanBase Cheating Policy

This means that Ukraine is now removed from the cup and mac1k is no longer allowed to play in any other cups / ladders / ... from this moment on until his bantime is due.
