Hey mate Logged on to CB after half a year of misery.

Sorry non of my teams is participating. After fall signups failed I stopped, and right after that got struck by some chronic eye condition that made it very hard (painfull) for me to game on a competitive level ever again. So I'm not comming back... Got a PHD in sociology now though, so life moves on.

I'm sure I could dig up a partner from somewhere to act as a reserve team in case of such a scenario.

It's sad to see some people with an overinflated sense of their own importance trying to impose their crap on what's left of the scene, calling most of them cheaters while they're at it, including several (former) CB Crew (and not to mention the only person to actually catch a cheater in a UT3 CB match ).

My view is still valid and is still the truth tbh; just check the comments. Not a single person outside of ST2 have said they are interested in running this anticheat. 10 clans signed up for the cup, all of whom are known in the community. The chance of a cheat is fairly low and I don't see how this WREX thing can be forced when clearly the community don't want it (besides ST2)

Shame Kensei is not sup. He may have been a bit biased towards his own participating clans but at least he listened to the community. From the looks of things here it seems ST2 are running this cup; they are the only ones who actually want this anticheat nonsense.

Oh by the way LoSaH, if you want to make this a fair poll, don't host it here on the site for everyone to vote.. From the looks of it so far I, doubt that 8 out of 10 clans already cast their vote.

He became the supervisor because he made an effort to get this cup running. If you would have taken a look at the newsitems made by Kinek (which should have been your job, making newsitems), you would have seen that this cup would have been allowed by him with these same 10 clans. So please get your facts straight before you say something foolish.

What's the point in that vote; if the majority votes no, then ST2 will just drop and we still don't have a cup.. So pathetic..

You don't have to be a cheater to vote against wrex, as there are plenty of other valid reasons why someone would not want to use this if it can be avoided. And after some of the comments made by you guys, my level of trust in you is decreasing by the minute

There's one thing for me, 1 team complains about Wrex and cup counts 10 teams.
I'm not active in the cup as it has been cancelled by Kinek and i respect CB's decision.
I dont understand how Losah became CupSupervisor without my validation.

I was replying to HIS words, not yours. I have supervised quite a bit of cups in the past, and I made sure I was always around to answer any questions people had, or I made sure there was a replacement around for when I wasn't there.
If you decide to supervise a cup (let alone become gamesupervisor) then the things you do should infact be very much visible. Show that you care about the game and the people playing it.
I supported LoSaH to take over this cup, because it was the only way we would even get a chance to get it running.



Where did I do that? I judge Tirfor on his actions, which were nonexistent until this moment. If he is tasked with running a cup, I expect him to do so. If he can't, then someone else should take over. Which is exactly what happened. If you want to host wrex on a site and expect people to take it seriously, then yes, you could have picked a better name is all I say.

I do not at all think I am the center of this world, I think you need to take a look in the mirror to see such arrogance personified. I like playing this game, and I don't want to see it destroyed by incapable people while there are others around.

Wow, are you really this daft? This is UT3, not 2k4. It would be a miracle if we have 3 servers in total for this game.. AND that the owners can actually be bothered to update them. I for one will definately not rent a server now that there is a good chance people will drop out again.
