Division 1 Group A

Bonket
The first player we shall be taking a look at is Bonket, as if he needs any introductions. Known as the player to ‘cap all np’ and current holder of the most records on the i4games website, he is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Having won several open cups, with a minimal amount of losses he has so far partaken in 1 of the 1v1 WorldCups. However as we know a lot has happened since then. Back in those days he took down Torment in two maps. Then he had a tie with the ever mighty bLasT. To then dominate the rest of his group by winning to Kronick (Mike) Kiji and scaring oneshitkila shitless, so he won by default. Then he however was stopped by a force known as Levi, otherwise also known as CJ. In a tense war Bonket started well by taking AdeonFactory. However Levi retaliated and took with him Horror, DecayedCollapse and Slaughter making him victorious. Bonket has since homed his skills and has capped every map available to him, many of them in a very quick time. He is definitely a contender to win this event!

Bonket’s stats
Speed 10/10 As one of the fastest bunnytrackers around his speed is matched by only a handful, he also knows all these maps very well and has rushed many of them. Albeit them being different versions often of the time, he has little weaknesses.
Stability 9/10 While a very stable, the one thing that I’ve seen gone wrong with Bonket in the past is his stability, whether we will witness this again in this cup however is very doubtful.
Amount of Practice 7/10 Because unlike many people in this cup this guy hasn’t quit the scene and has kept on trucking as they say, his need for practice is considerably low. Of course he’ll run through the maps a bit before each war, but that alone should suffice into getting him a long way.
Conclusion
With the knowledge, the speed and the consistency of Bonket many value him as one of the top favourites of this cup. Hence it’s needless to say that I value him at the top of our group as well. A very strong match-up capable of dealing with any opponent in any circumstance.

Isotoxin
As the first in a big line of Belgian contenders we have Isotoxin, a person with mixed results so far. Having done very good in division two he managed to conquer it together with his friend Fulcrum, although he never did make the big leap into Division 1 in the way he had hoped. That’s why he now has the chance to show us all what he is made of. Although a bit disappointed his favourite map wasn’t in this cup, Isotoxin will hopefully keep his head cool and train hard so he can defeat some of his opposition. Although he may have the skills needed to be in this division, he often has the lack of discipline to keep on going after a big disappointment. He seems to have however turned over a new leaf and is back with his clan FBT. Hopefully this new found courage will get him through this cup.

Isotoxin’s stats
Speed 5/10 Not being a slowpoke, Isotoxin isn’t known for his speed, overall he’s a decent player that knows a trick or two. With much practice (which I hope this will make him do!) he can definitely up his great on this aspect.
Stability 7/10 Being very easily off put his stability remains a decent factor of his skill, I just hope this factor doesn’t die out once he loses or mistakes occur, as they are bound to happen.
Amount of Practice 4/10 I hope I am wrong here, but my biggest fear is that Isotoxin wont do as well as he hopes and thus ends up losing interest, including his amount of practice.
Conclusion
While being a very decent addition to the Division 1 roster, Isotoxin doesn’t manage to stand out by any major qualities. However taking away his tendency to ‘rage quit’ he doesn’t have obvious weaknesses either. Let us hope he practices hard to prove me wrong and show us what he’s got.

pthd
Pthd… pthwhom you may say, as a person who is new to BT he’s an upcoming talent, having heard many good things from people that know him from ICTF we have high hopes that this new found wind will turn into a very strong opponent. People who are new to BT often are very eager to learn and can spend a very good amount of time on one map, this’ll definitely help him as most players these days are a bit flushed out. Being the absolute underdog may serve in his advantage. But of what I’ve heard from those that know him, his basics are more than intact.

pthd’s stats
Speed 3/10 Because he is new to BT his speed is mostly not up to par with the majority of the people that have been doing this for years. However his speed will surely increase as the cup goes by, so watch out, cause this is just a prototype still being tweaked and upgraded.
Stability 5/10 Learning your first maps was always hard, but lately with the addition of the checkpoint mutator to pretty much every server its become a much easier task to learn a map. I just hope he finds the courage to build in the stability rather than just the knowledge of the map.
Amount of Practice 9/10 This is a total guess here, but I’m hoping that because he’s new to this all he’ll put in much more time than the rest of us, he’ll need it to overcome his weaknesses. But its been proven time and time again, than in BT practice can really make a huge impact.
Conclusion
Definetly the underdog of the group, it is a tad bit hard to know what to expect of this player. However I hear great things and I will be looking forward to seeing him unfold his wings into hopefully a new regular BT member..

supremE*
One might say who is this fellow here? Well he may be better known as Gladi. A well known person to those who read all the posts we make here and a definite fan of Factory. Having claimed to really only care about beating Bonket, I doubt he will resist the temptation of taking down some Belgians, including his former teammates Viper and Isotoxin. Gladi has shown us before that he’s got an array of tricks, however how many of them will he show? His previous encounter with the 1v1 cup didn’t go as planned, let us just hope he has new found strength.

supremE*’s stats
Speed 7/10 While I’ve noticed he’s been checking out the rec function on the BT-match bot, Gladi isn’t known explicitly for his speed. Regardless he’s shown Chupacabra a thing or two of what a well placed Shortcut can do so beware if you’d underestimate him.
Stability 8/10 I would say that on the maps he knows well he is a very stable person, capable of making no dead runs, on the newer maps it all depends on how much effort is put in.
Amount of Practice 7/10 Training hard to defeat Bonket is the purpose of Gladi however will this purpose get him enough satisfaction, and will it even be enough to take such a powerhouse down? It’ll be interesting to see what practice can do to a man on a mission..
Conclusion
Gladi is a weird cookie definitely home in many mods though he always seems to pop up and do his little Factory whine this time its no difference, I hope him the best, but what he is set out for is not an easy task.

Thotimo
Ah myself it’s always that little bit strange to talk about yourself especially figuring out your own strengths and weaknesses and giving them open, to your opponent. In all honesty many of you should know that I’m more of a team player guy, therefore this cup is not ideal for me. But if this is what the community demands, this is what we spin. So here we are ready to rumble. With a lot of my time going to trying to spice things up practice kind of slips through the cracks. Often the motivation lacks to practice maps like I used to, figuring I’ll do fine. Some quick 1v1’s however have painted a painful picture.

Thotimo’s stats
Speed 7/10 I’ve never considered myself fast in any way shape or form, it is honestly the least of my worries. However having played with rushers so much in the past I have noticed that my speed has gone up, hopefully what I’ve seen has in my subconscious changed into what I can now produce myself.
Stability 6/10 Its one thing to be stable with a key teammate holding me up, it is another thing doing it myself. I am known to ‘pull a Thoti’ and I am sure I’ll entertain in this cup as well.
Amount of Practice 7/10 I can’t say the amount of practice I’ll get is the amount I want. I’m sure I’ll act like Bonket, however I’ll need it much more than he does, so this may turn into a problem.
Conclusion
I’ve seen some people have high hopes for me, I somewhat disagree with them, but we’ll see all for the best. As many in my group this format is a bit new to me and I already know I’m not the greatest fan. However I’ll put in the effort to make some entertaining games and hopefully challenge some of my opposition..

Viperr
Ah the last but certainly not least piece of the puzzle in this group Viperr. Viperr has new and some recent teammates to beat here, he was once part of the clan of Isotoxin but his biggest success has been with Gladi. They’ve shown to us all that taking an unexpected map can end up very well for you and getting good at that one map got them very far. It is however his first appearance solo and he’s ready to make an impact!

Viperr’s stats
Speed 6.5/10 Not a slow moving person, but not quite as quick as the likes of Bonket, however that is at this stage and he is rapidly evolving into a flying, non dying dodging machine.
Stability 7/10 Viper seems to play his maps well, sometimes things turn out disastrous but in the vast majority of the times he holds his own, his stability is not flawless, but not one to take lightly either. He puts in the time and effort and it shows.
Amount of Practice 9/10 Being one of the younger players around he has the time to practice a lot and he does so as well, he’s played all of the maps a fair amount of times and this will only do him justice in the end..
Conclusion
This is a player that will truly grow as the cup continues, his skill is already at a high enough level to become dangerous and as time goes by he either stops his evolution. Or shocks us all and takes it up a notch.

I had a great read, really interesting to see every-bodies stats like that xD

The idea was indeed to practise the maps well, but an unforseen project arrived and pushed everything else aside. Hereby, I won't be able to put in the time and effort I had planned and needed, which will probably make me a sitting duck.

On the other hand, I will try to find some time to practise all maps at least a few more times, and I hope to bring some good matches to my opponents.

As for now, I expect to lose all matches, but maybe I'll get lucky

I wish a good cup to everyone and may the best bunny win!
