14. Match Rules - playoff matches

A playoff match is played using Best of Three (BO3) system. Both clans choose one map from the maplist. Both clans choose whether they start as CT or T on their picked map. A cointoss or a knife round is used to determine which clan chooses the first map. 2x15 rounds are played in every map.
Only mapwins are counted in BO3. The winner of a map will get 1 point. Ties aren't allowed. If the map is tied, it will go into 'overtime': the tied map will be played again, with 2x3 rounds instead of 2x15 and with mp_startmoney set to 10000. This will be repeated until there is a winner.
If the score is tied after two maps (1-1), a decider map will be played. Both clans will vote one map out from the remaining three unplayed maps. The only map remaining is the decider. A knife round is played to determinate which clan gets to choose their first side in the decider map. If the decider map ends in a draw (both clans won 15 rounds), it will go into 'overtime': the decider map will be played again, with 2x3 rounds instead of 2x15 and with mp_startmoney set to 10000. This will be repeated until there is a winner.

Each group match is played on one pre-selected map. The map will be played 2x15 rounds, with each clan playing 15 rounds as CT and 15 rounds as T on the pre-selected map.

• 1. week: de_dust2
• 2. week: de_inferno
• 3. week: de_train
• 4. week: de_nuke

• Knife round will be played before the start of the match and the winner will decide whether to start as CT or T on the map.
• All rounds count (round wins are added to determine the score).
• Draws are not allowed.
• If the match ends in a draw (both clans have won 15 rounds) the match will go into 'overtime': the map will be played again, with 2x3 rounds instead of 2x15 and with mp_startmoney set to 10000. This will be repeated until there is a winner.

Every player must record ineye-demos even if there's HLTV recording.

This is a reminder that there is still another three days to go in order to sign up to the majority of cups in the Fall 2012 Cup season.

It is time again for the ClanBase Counter-Strike 1.6 OpenCup. On this Fall season we are hoping to see lots of good teams fighting each other to see whose team is the best team.

Rules

Our rules are not published yet but there haven't been any changes from the last season so old previous season teams should already know whats coming with the rules. As in every cup the rules can be found in the rules section in your Cup menu to your left. Please make sure you read and understand the rules properly. If you have any questions regarding the rules do not hesitate to contact a supervisor. It is always the best to deal with errors or misunderstandings before the cup has started.

Admins

Every season we ask for dedicated admins to help us out with uploading screenshots and writing match reports. Here we go again, we are looking for people who can:

• Speak and have decent written English
• Knowledge of CS 1.6 commands
• Write interesting match reports and/or upload screenshots
• Good knowledge of the rules
• Make well thought out and impartial decisions
