Well the UT2003 ITDM Cup Spring 2004 is over. We had great matches in this cup like the final between digital KILLERS and knockOut.

Well i can't tell what the future will bring for UT2003 since many clans are moving to UT2004. We just have to wait and see.

With both clans ready on time and servertesting proceeding without notable problems, everything was running on schedule. W&C never really stood a chance against v and after the first map played it wasn't surprising that the following 2 maps went to v as well.

The night of the finals. The night of the last games in this cup. The night of the end of an area? Before we think back about two years, thinking about the beginning and the maybe end of a game... And before heading on to UT2k4 completely, focus on this last match between TT and xS, a tense and close on the most maps, though as all matches, it can only have one winner.

Interviews UT2003 iTDM Spring 2004

As promised, the last interview is with a special person. I am proud to present you [CB]Angel. Since he couldn't stop himself from asking me a few questions as well, you will also find some information about myself in there. Have fun reading the last interview of this cup. With TT winning Compressed in the last 2 minutes and leading their map, Stalwart, comfortable with 60 frags ahead at halftime, the outcome of this match seems already chiselled in stone. But ViRuS showed, living their name, that they are unpredictable. This led to a breathtaking finish of the second map...

I don't remember having admined a match that took so long till the winner was determined. Getting the match started was a pain but after uncountable serverswitches (due to the 2 server character of the match) the players seemed to have understood the concept and the game became almost fluent.
Appart from the difficulties it has been a very thrilling match that was fought till the very last frag and even with 1 minute to go on the second half of the last map there was no telling which clan would take the win.

Tonight the final of the UT2003 ITDM Cup Spring 2004 will be played. The final will be played at 21.00 CET between knockOut and digital KILLERS.

With «R» having announced the end of their clan a while ago, they were struggling badly to field a team tonight. After a lot of trying and reinstalling UT2k3 they finally had 4 players ready. wI was waiting patiently for them to get their players but in the end even their goodwill couldn't change the inevitable anymore. After wI had won the first map, «R» couln't put up with it anymore and had to forfeit.

Preparations didn't start well with xS being late and in doubt whether they even could field a team. Shortly before everyone seemd to be ready (about 30 minutes late), W&C started to have problems with PC crashes. First 2 maps were close and on the 3rd, the wrong map was played.

cmk was having slight member problems and couldn't field their beast team right from the start. After 2.2 maps played, ]cmk[-Lupus suddenly disconnected and hasn't been seen anymore. It's supposed that his isp had a blackout but the result was that cmk was weakened even more. W&C on the other hand had their up's and downs but finally managed to force the win.

While the finals are drawing ever closer, <]R[pirate> was willing to tell us a few things about R as well as about himself. If you intend to stay up to date with the latest rumors then just read on...
