After three thrilling, intense fragging, good teamwork showing, lucky and unlucky moments happening, sneaking, jumping, capping, tension building up, some mumbling on voicecoms for sure, teeth-gritting, cheering maps on a perfect fair server it was Team Germany who took the overall win and advances to the final.

Christmas break is over and it's time for the semi-finals. It's a new year, and we can look back to a good 2004. Now it's time to finish this cup. Please schedule your matches asap. Matches should be played next week, talk with each other and inform the supervisors or contact me .

Goodluck!

After talking to some people of the teams that made it to the semifinals it became apparent that they will not be able to play the finals untill the next year.
I can imagine most of you could use a short christmas break, so we will continue the cup in the new year.
So I wish you all a very merry christmas and a happy new year, and see you soon!

Though normally we would wait for all the groupstage matches to finish before starting the playoffs, yesterday's wildcard of - Portugal UT2004 iCTF Team - in their match against Team Austria iCTF in combination with the upcoming holidays made us anounce and create the semifinals before that.
Both poules have 2 clans that clearly stood out and showed themselves to be amongst the best nations in UT2004 iCTF this sesason.
In poule A these are Sweden, who go through unbeaten, and Team Finland who only lost to Sweden.
Poule B is similar, with iCTF Team Germany going through with 5 wins and the Netherlands - iCTF UT2004 coming second after a narrow loss to iCTF Team Germany.
Congratulations to these 4 teams for doing so well, and I'd like to thank all other nations for playing and hope to see you all again next season.

The semifinals have been added to the roster and can be scheduled right away.
We will try to run UTV for both semifinals, and hopefully both wars will have admins as well.
Good luck!

We are near the end of the groupstage in this Nation's Cup, with a few matches left to be played from the week before.
Some matches for the last week have not yet been scheduled, so please try to agree on a date and time with your opponent as soon as possible.
If you cannot reach an agreement send me an email with the days your team can play, so I can take that into consideration when forcing the matches late tonight.

As most of you will have noticed the iCTF Open Cup has re-allowed anti TCC for the remainder of the cup.
In order to keep things manageable for server admins the NC will follow this lead, and antiTCC will be allowed again.
You can find a link to download it and settings you can use in the newsitem from the open cup

Last but not least, tonight the war between Team United Kingdom and Switzerland will be played.
The match still needs an admin, so feel free to signup if you have the time.
Good luck to the two nations teams playing tonight.
