Yes it's true, another cup is over. Damn and i must say it was a nice cup. Full of action, nice matches and hopefully decent covarage.

This season gold went to its previus holder, the only nations that has won it for 4 times and that is the one and only Portugal.

The nation who was this year unable to defeat Portugal is the nation who gave them their first official loss (by playing, not be default victory) and also an unlucky finalist last season, team Netherlands.

The bronze goes this year to the team that's realy showing us the meaning of having fun (which is what gaming is all about) Team United Kingdom has definetly deserve their 3rd place, running right behind them is Germany which came back to the top4 nations after having to bad seasons at bomb mode.

Portugal
The Netherlands
Team United Kingdom
Germany

I consider that this cup was a big success and i know i couldn't have done it alone, so i'd like to thank kn for his help with admining important games and for beeing there when i needed him most. I'd also like to thank W0LV3R!N3 for helping out with admin work on his first seasons and also to all the other admins that put their time in to this cup.

For covarage i think we should all thank bl4z and the SLOfaca clan for providing us GTV whenever we needed it and thank Oswald for shoutcasting and making it more interesting then just watching the game.

This last part of this post i'd like to dedicate to the person that's done a huge amount of work for the Urban Terror community and has been around since the bare beginning, a great supervisor and even better friend, L0rD. I think i speak in the name of whole community when i thank you for all the work you have done in the past years and we'll try to make your replacements as effective as you were.
Not only he's been a great supervisor and a good admin, L0rD has also been a good friend who helped me alot around clanbase. We'll miss your work around here. Thank you for everything mate.

Yours truely, impaa

Only best 4 teams are left in this cup and 4 more games to be played. The favorites Netherlands and Portugal have made it this far without many problems and are now about to face the two teams that battled their way in to semi's Germany and United Kingdom.

This weeks third map is Abbey2

If by any chance third map is played with a draw, the following is 10 min on each of the teams home maps with rounds counting (calculated together from both 10min-maps)

1st semi-final game:

Portugal vs Germany (tuesday @ 22:00 CET)

2nd semi-final game:

Netherlands vs United Kingdom (wednesday @ 21:30 CET)

More to come soon.

Both teams were at the same level at the beginning of Turnpike but GER started grabbing more and more rounds, leaving few crumbs for FIN now and then.

With a nice group stage without any special delays, we've managed to reach the level where only best 8 nations are left. Some good games are infront of us, so without further delay, lets see who made it this far.

Group holders

Netherlands
Finland
Portugal
Denmark

Group runners

Germany
Hungary
United Kingdom
France

Like in OC, here we'll have as well a little change of rules for playoff. Meaning that map wins will count (if 1 map is won by team A and 2nd map is drawed, team A wins the game). The so called "third" map will be set for every week. As i'd like to have a bit more open map list, i'll pick a bit unplayed maps, which will also give advantage to the teams that will put more time in to it then others.

Some real goodies are infront of us and i can assure every game will have provided GTV sponsored by Q-shop.org. Hopefuly with some reinforcements and the end of OC we'll have more available admins and every game will be admined as well, with a proper report after it. But enough of that and lets take a look at what we're going to see in near future.
