All we have now left from EuroCup 2005 is to wait for details of LAN-finals. It has been quite good EuroCup. It started with Scorp as supervisor and ended with me. Best clans from Europe has been playing against each other and now best from the best will travel to LAN-finals to play for the prizes and most of all for the glory and fame what winning EuroCup in LAN will bring.
I personally would like to thank all players who have been part of this cup. We really made this cup what it was. Now we wait. SummerCups are starting, next OpenCup is coming at autumn. If we secure enough clans for the OpenCup we get another EuroCup. It is us who can keep this game alive and in SummerCup we are introducing new ideas to work with. Specially for Search and Destroy we are bringing new maps and freezetime before rounds.
I would also like to thank all admins, who helped me out with this cup. It surely wasn`t easy cup. But it is almost over now. I wish everyone a good summer. Go and chill, but BE PREPARED for LANs.
See you at LAN!

We are moving to deciding matches in EuroCup Winners Bracket. I will try to cover both matches as detailed as possible. First part is match between Its hard to say which team has upperhand in this match. Both teams have practised and both teams has hunger for LAN-spot. Prize from this match is huge. The team who first gets 21 rounds will get their place in LAN-finals. Maps are also intresting. First we have mp_neuville where PCG crushed u96d in AEC. With superior aim and good tactics. mp_railyard is also map where you need combination of good teamplay and fast, sharp aim. I think ocrana has better teamplay, they have played together longer and have been playing actively. But in personalskills I think PCG is little better than them. I have interviewed PCG Yekoms, Pulse and ozwald for this article. I thank all of you guys from good answers. I`m also trying to find shoutcast and CoDTV for the match. I might be getting two new CoDTV servers and if this is true, we might have a green light for CoDTV. |

Hey Yekoms, can you introduce yourself and your gaming background? |
Nick name: |
Hi, i am Adam Woodhouse or Yekoms from PCGamer as most people know me, i started playing competitive e-sports when Mohaa was released and moved straight to cod from there, played in such teams as I-eS, Victum and obviously TAG/PCG.

Can you introduce your clan, player by player?
Mick: Takes the leader role in games and definately leads by example, awesome clutcher and good with both mg and rifle. Moose: Moose's biggest strength is without doubt his ability to get behind opponents and his movement, that and his more than capable mging qualities. Pain: Can use any weapon with great ability, that and an incredable nack to read the game extremely well. Plazma: Mr MP44, without doubt the best mger in the game which is matched by the countless clutch plays and smart play. Me: ill let others decide :D |
Are you gonna do anything special when facing previous eurocup winner?
We will do our usual, nothing over special, probably change afew tactics etc as there are countless demos of us online and both these maps. Rail and Neuv are 2 of our best maps and it would take some team to beat us on them.

-Both teams are doing pretty good in this EuroCup, moreover these two maps aren't played actively lately so it'll be even more hard to predict. But i saw PCG training very hard by playing a pcw almost everyday (if not more) and according to their results they are the team to beat, considering WHO lost some time ago against j52. Whereas OCRANA.ATI's members are in exams period and they aren't as active as PCG. -First map will be neuville thus I guess it'll be the deciding map. Once again, PCG's training will make the difference so i suppose PCG will have a convicing 13 - 7 win. -Then on railyard OCRANA.ATI's experience will certainly pay, even if winning the bash would help them a lot. But still OCRANA.ATI probably won't make it and score will certainly be closer than on neuville: 8 - 8 to PCG -So i'll give an overall victory to PCG 21 - 15, but well, these are only predictions and i suppose both teams won't bring much attention to it, may the best team win ;) |

My prediction for the PCG vs OCR match would be as follows: First map Railyard With PCG's recent addition of plaZma, from what i have seen of him in recent matches, he is an extremely strong asset to the team, but i do not underestimate the strength of OCR's lineup, so i would predict that PCG will win Railyard 11:8. Second map Neuville On this map i believe it will be a closer game and i can still see PCG comming through and winning the map 11:9. so with an overall prediction of 22:17 in favor of PCG, i wish both teams the best of luck and hope that it is an exciting match and the score is somewhat close to what i have predicted. |
