In this cup everybody is allowed to sign-up for the action! The sign-ups are opened on the Saturday 12 march and closed on the sunday 3 april.

Ok, after a pretty rough group stage, its finally finished and the playoffs are live. You have 1 week to get your matches scheduled and until the 22nd May to get them played.

All matches that are not scheduled by Saturday evening will be forced so make sure you get them sorted asap!

The maps to be played for this round are de_dust and de_aztec

Once again any problems/questions/match results etc etc please email them to me.

As said in the previous news item, all matches that have not been played, or results not e-mailed to me on Sunday night will be set as 0-0 draws. Then next week the knock out stage will begin.

Now despite what has previously been said the format for the knock out stage will be the following:

The top 2 clans from every group, in all divisions will be put forward to 1 big knock out competition. So in effect that will be 32 clans that go through.

This will give us only 1 winner, not 3 winners (1 for each division)

I have taken over the roll of co-supervisor for this cup and my first duty within this cup is to kick ass on un-confirmed/un-played matches!

There seem to be several matches that need sorting and I understand there has been many issues with getting results entered. If you have played a match, or your opponents did not show please email me the match details and result complete with proof (Screenshots/URLS to demos/IRC Logs Maybe) I will then get them sorted. - Any matches which are not complete by the end of this week will be set as 0-0 draws.
