We are happy to announce that we've banned Kirurgi from ClanBase today. His profile can be found here. He played in this cup for the clan Rhythm. If you have played versus this clan in the cup and you have screenshots of him playing in the match, let us know and send them to us. The match will be forfeited in your favour.

Many of you probably noticed already, but due to my exams, newspost is a bit late.
All playoff trees and rosters have now been created for all divisions, allowing clan leaders and war arrangers to challenge their next opponents. Tables to the right of the page will indicate the clans that made it into the playoffs. Opponents have been mixed and jumbled throughout the division to ensure division toppers climb the one man ladder to victory.
ClanBase has set Wednesday 31st at 23:00 (CET) as the deadline to discuss and agree upon a date with your opponent. Matches can be played between January 29th and February 4th.

Only thing left to say is: Good Luck to all of you!

After finishing last group matchweek we will give clans one week more to play all wildcarded games. After that ET crew will announce playoff brackets. This means that all teams have to wait a little bit more to play their matches. We will try do brackets as fast as possible to let clans prepare for most important part of OpenCup.

In all leagues it will be the 2 best clans in the group ranking that qualify to the playoffs.

All forfeits are stored as a 1-0 victory but in the end calculation they will count as a forfeit. If you still have some results to report, please mail them, together with the war ID and screenshots to Toxic or Zell as soon as possible. It might affect your chances to go to the playoffs!

Keep in mind that after this week the first playoffweek normally starts so try to set your matches as soon as possible since the forcing of the matches will be held on Wednesday for the first week and after that again on Sunday or Monday. Any questions concerning the Playoffs or anything else can be directed to either Toxic or Zell by e-mail or irc.
We hope to see all clans back in the next season, also the ones that didn't make it to the playoffs this time. Better luck next time!

Good luck in the playoffs.

This is a last reminder to all clans to submit their missing match results.
There are still some match results to be entered. We will not chase clans in their IRC channels or via e-mail. Unscored matches will remain unscored/unplayed.
As mentionned before, I get request on IRC to add scores. Please try to mail them. They get lost very easily on IRC. It's kinda busy during the evening, so please understand this.
You will have time to mail your outstanding scores till friday next week! From then on, once a game is 3 days old - a 0-0 result will be entered and will only be changed if asked so by e-mail. It is important to note that matches without scores at the end of the season may affect your chances of proceeding to the playoffs.

You can mail your results to Zell or Toxic (pls fix your mail ^^ )!
Normally, your score should have been added within 24 hours. If not, your mail was probably not received for some reason. Please try again. My mailbox is large enough, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Be sure to include the war ID, supporting screenshots and the score itself!

We saw a very nice match tonight. Rewind had a very nice teamplay.Get Skill was good too , but Rewind was better. Goldrush was really a rush. They did it in 4:25 . This time was a very good time so that Get skill wasnt able to beat this. On Frostbite Get Skill started the 1.st Round. But it was a very hard fight for them but they secured the objective finally and set the time to 8:04. Rewind did a better job and has beaten this time. Good Game!

Stay active people. You are wasting the cupadmins and your opponent's time by doing no-shows! Please consider if you want to continue in this Cup. If not, make sure you unsubscribe yourself from this Cup. This could save a lot of time for Cup Admins to decide what match they have to ref/write. And for those who just had other problems and did a no-show, be aware of the 2 no-show's rule!

Outstanding scores

After our first matchweek, we have a lot of outstanding scores. We would like to remind clans with outstanding scores to send an e-mail with score and screenshots to the supervisors. Scores will be added as soon as possible!

Entering match results

Almost every 5 minutes I get a PM on mIRC from players that want to know how they can enter their score. I don't mind telling people what to do, but I can assure you it's getting pretty annoying after the 20th PM :)
You can read all that in the rules (part 4.9). =>
If there is no cup admin available to admin your match, please follow these steps:
  • Go through the server testing procedure as explained in these rules. In case of a conflict or disagreement, consult a supervisor or a cup admin on the cup channel or the game channel, not in the #clanbase channel.
  • Keep logs of everything that is said on IRC.
  • Send the match result and the screenshots to the supervisor by email immediately after the match.

Please follow these steps before sending a PM to a supervisor regarding this matter.
There are other clans with different questions (that can't be found in the rules) and also these clans would like an answer as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance!

As many of you already noticed, you could challenge each clan twice. This was a bug, so most of you only made 1 challenge as it should be.
With the start of the cup, we have to force a lot of unsceduled matches. I just noticed those challenges are also twice in that list too, so I don't know which challenges were already agreed by players and which ones still need to be forced. Some of the matches are already forced. If you already agreed a date with your opponent and you also have a forced match in your agenda for the same war, I suggest you just play the match at the date you agreed and just ignore the forced war. No more matches will be forced untill that bug is fixed.

I just read on the OC 6v6 page that the OC will be delayed by one week. I don't know if OC 3v3 will be delayed too. Heard nothing about that. I'll make another post as soon as there are some admins to give me any details of what's going on. Seems like some of them suddenly died...

UPDATE!
OC 3on3 will continue the way it was planned!
The duplicate entries have been removed. All unsceduled matches are forced.
Good luck & Have fun!

We get lots of mails from clanleaders that want to register their players for the cup. You DO NOT have to add all of your players that way!
The players that are in your clan before the start of the cup are allowed to play for your clan if they don't play in the same cup with any other clan.
The "allowed players form" is only ment for players that for example joined the clan after the start of the cup.
This means you will only need this form after monday.
The allowed players list should be updated by monday for every clan. If still there are some players missing you would like to add, then you can fill in the form.
Be carefull when you add new players with the form. You can only use it 3 times!

As you can see, the groups are made public. The first matchweek will start after this weekend, so you can start challenging your opponent! We did our best to put everyone in a good league, regarding their achievements, last matches and the rating they gave to themselves. The groups are made random.
Please make your challenges as soon as possible to make sure you can arrange a date with your opponent in time.

Regarding the rules; Most of you will already know this from the ladders, but just to make it clear for everyone; The server needs to run ET 2.60b and Etpro 3.2.6 with the latest certified Euro 3v3 config, which you can find in the config pack.

Now, the only thing left is to wish you all good luck in the cup(s)!

ClanBase is proud to announce the release of a new set of configs today.

The ET config has come a long way in the past three years and is upgraded and tweaked in every release. Our primary wish has been trying to get an arrangement with other leagues but due some reasons which I do not want to talk right now it was not possible this time. Meanwhile we will always continue developing the game to it's most competitive status and bringing the players a great platform for showing their skill and having the most fun posible. We also want to add we are open to any suggestions you could do to improve the config.

You can download the confis here: ClanBase Enemy Territory official config pack

Important Note:

This set of config are the official release from ClanBase Enemy Territory and must be used in all matches. All servers to be used for any match at ClanBase must be updated with this configs. All old configs are deprecated and must not be used anymore. Any match not using this config after November 13th will be cancelled.
