Another season has passed. A season with a lot of ups and rarely any downs, a succesfull cup, I might add.
Not a lot of surprises in the cup, maybe the division1 final was a surprise for a lot of players, as they suspected xS and ION to play the final instead of SoB and TuF...

We've kicked off with the cup on a very democratic way, with giving the people the powers to decide for the cupmaps. The final selection of maps has been inspected closely during the playoff period in order for us to see if the newly added maps were picked at all. Here are the stats per division and in total:

As you can see, Switch is still the all time favourite by far, because it is selected and played in 25% of the cases, followed closely by Anfra (17%). Gauss2 was played only once during the whole playoff period, and only because it was the 5th map which had to be played after de-selecting every other map. Perhaps something to think about for next season :)


Of course a cup can't be run without the help of ppl within the community, so therefor, we would like to thank: Dysfunction (UTV providing) - LeGo (backup UTV providing) - DeV (lots of matchreports) - LeC (adminning so many wars in the playoffs) - of course, other admins, ... - Wiking (SC) - DeeJay (UTV Cameraman)

All of you are responsible for keeping our community active and we're grateful for that!

A congratz to Taboen, who is the first winner of CBooky in the OC! (followed closely by iNc, DeV, pTr and oLLipop to finish the top 5).

It's with great sadness in my heart that we have to say goodbye to DrZizi, a great cup-supervisor, an awesome guy, brilliant to work with, ... as he decides to stop supervising any cups to focus on his position as Chief Of Translator and real life...

Myself, I will take a break with supervising cups and see if I feel the urge later on to continue my job... A few things were the cause of this, DrZizi leaving, real life kicking in, ...
