It's done. Another succesfull season of the CoD2 EuroCup has come to an end. We have seen some really exciting moments and matches in this seasons EuroCup. Unfortunately we saw Team Logitech.fi just folding when the EuroCup LAN Finals were about to kick off. But didn't spoiled the fun and excitement this weekend as we still got some very interesting results this weekend. But like in every cup, only the best will make it to the finals. Yesterday we saw TeK-9 Networks LTD. taking on H2k.Qpad, where the second almost managed to surprise the community by taking the first map. But TeK-9 Networks LTD. managed to get back their focus and took the second map and therefore the big one, the €2700 and that lovely golden trophy ofcourse. The Germans from TEAM-SPEEDLINK still managed to show their skill this weekend by taking 3rd place, just after announcing to go less active, by beating the 'just invited' LowLandLions, who didn't managed to surprise, but that's probably because of the lack of preparation, but it was a good experience for them and still went home with €800. Both me and l3on think it was a smooth season without too many dropouts, no shows and problems, and we hope to continue this in the next editions. Although with Call of Duty 4 around the corner we still hope to see CoD2 like this a little bit more. We would like to congratulate all teams with their result and good luck in the future. We would also like to congratulate uteLise for being the most succesfull better in the CBooky. But enough with the chit-chat, here are the lucky devils that made it to the list:

After "triller" with "new kids on the block" Team LowLandLions, Tek-9 took on Team Speedlink who demolished H2k on burgundy earlier. With place in Grand Final at stake we were guaranteed a spectacle.Read more on how the match was won.

What happens when the favorites to winning the cup and the underdogs for the very same competition that weren't even supposed to reach this far join the same server and fight in the EuroCup LAN finals? In this occasion, pure Call of Duty frenzy and excitement!

Most predictions dictate a final between Tek9 and Speedlink, so the odds clearly stated H2k were the underdogs for this first match. It is an extremely important match as Speedlink is highly motivated and they want to quit COD2 the best way they can and performing in the same way. Check the full report inside.

Today, the Call of Duty 2 squad Logitech.fi has announced their team has disbanded and will not compete in the WZZRD LAN Centre in Enschede on September 8th - 9th.

Impact continue their journey in the Eurocup with a hard earned victory against eSuba in one of the quickest matches this season.

With H2k.Qpad and Logitech.fi advancing in the upperbracket stages of the playoffs since last weeks update, we are set for another round of tense matches this week with the likes of TeK-9 taking on British rivals Team Dignitas in the lowerbracket stages. Over in the upperbracket Team SPEED-LINK pit against the Belgian all star team of defusekids to see who can claim the second victory in the playoffs.

With the recent debates of using the newly released PAM mode in EuroCup XV matches it was put to rest as a no. A few discussions took place tonight and we would now like t announce the update of our rules which allows the new PAM to be used during EuroCup matches. By not allowing the new updated version of PAM before, it was causing friction between teams and admins who were there to tell the rules, not make them. As you know this latest version of the PAM mod removes all fog from the game completely giving a better perspective on maps for players. During the first half of the game the H2k squad dominated and were inches away from victory, though TeK-9 wouldn't let that slip easily and put up a good fight before going down.

With the recent result of Logitech.fi defeating Team Dignitas in the first round of the playoffs, its time to find out who both these teams will be facing out of H2k.Qpad and TeK-9 as the two all star teams pit against each other in tonights EuroCup XV playoff game.
