After a great season we finaly have the very best of europe right here. We had a very smooth and succesful EuroCup this season. This all is beacuse of you, the community, we saw a lot of activity from your part and also from our admins, broadcasters and of course HLTV.org and QuadV did a great job. Below are the winners and prices they won. We hope to see you all in the next season of Counter-Strike: Source EuroCup. Stay tuned for a more detailed round up of CS:S Spring'07 EuroCup and OpenCup ! (Which will be posted later tonight to ClanBase frontpage)

This is it, the moment you've all been waiting for!

The final of the most prestigious online event in Europe for Counter-Strike: Source, the Grand Final of the ClanBase EuroCup XV!

Two teams will be facing off against each other: Team Logitech.fi from Finland, and fnatic from Holland!

Both teams will be attending the eXperience LAN in denmark right before this matchup, and they will be bootcamping for that as well, so we'll be sure to see both teams bringing their A-game!

Coming from the lower bracket, Team Logitech.fi needs to win 2 consecutive maps to secure the #1 spot in the cup, they've had some line-up changes during the season, but with the return of Odiouz the team is ready to rock!
On the road to the final, Team Logitech.fi has suffered 2 losses, once from Wizards eSports CS:S Team, and once from H2k-Gaming, however, they had rematches against both teams in a latter stage of the tournament, and beat both.
Especially the victory over H2k-Gaming came as a surprise to many, proving that Team Logitech.fi is still in the running!
Will these line-up issues affect their game? Will the last month's worth of training be enough to bring down the dutchies?
Judging from the past, Team Logitech.fi is very likely to pick de_contra as their map. Whichever map Team Logitech.fi choses will be played first, as they enter the final at the disadvantage of coming from the lower bracket.

Coming from the upper bracket, fnatic enters the final as the clear-cut favourite, not having lost a single map, let alone a game, in the entire tournament, they seem to be heading straight to victory!
However, due to their ingame leader and tactics caller, AirRaid, being absent for the two weeks before the LAN, and other fnatic members having been on vacation before then, will the bootcamp and LAN be sufficient to beat the Fins?
fnatic is known for their tactics and strong teamplay on de_train, which would be my guess for their choice of map. Should Team Logitech.fi win the first map (their own pick), I'll put my money on train being the second, and deciding map.

As a supervisor, it's great to see two seasoned EC Veteran teams such as these end up facing one another in the Grand Final, fighting for the prizes. I can't wait to see the match!

We are glad to announce our latest addition to the CS:S EuroCup Crew: Cadred's very own Max "Goodeh" Silver! He will be in charge of the coverage of tonight's match and the Grand Final, as well as all of next season's coverage! Here we are, the lower bracket final! This match will decide who gets to face fnatic in the Grand Final. Everyone who is still in the running at this time is already certain of a piece of the prizepie. The clan that comes in third will take home
5 SteelPad QcK+'s. The winner will go on to meet fnatic to fight for either 5 SteelPad S&S solo's (2nd place) or 5 SteelSound 5Hv2's and 5 SteelPad QcK heavy's (1st place).

The two clans facing off on thursday are: H2k-Gaming and Team Logitech.fi, they've already met once before in the groupstages, where H2k-Gaming beat Team Logitech.fi 16-4 on de_dust2, a commanding score. However, since then, the Team Logitech.fi roster underwent some changes, and on thursday, we'll find out just how much the Finns have improved!

Both teams are part of respected organisations, both teams have proven their worth both online and offline, Team Logitech.fi seems to be on a roll after their loss against Wizards in the upper bracket, will it prove to be enough? Find out on thursday!

This is it, the one match that will decide wether or not the clan in question will end up in the prizes or not. The winner of this match will defineatly have a top3 spot, and will go on to meet H2k-Gaming* in the Lower Bracket Final to fight it out for a spot in the Grand Final. The loser of this match, however, will end up as the #4 for this season's EuroCup, and will receive no prizes.
Both teams have displayed the skill, aim and teamplay to justify their top 4 placing in this EuroCup, Team MGC surprised all the way throughout the tournament, winning group A (beating Dignitas, CSA, mTw, Exotic & aAa) - Then losing to mG, but picking it back up and winning from KaozZ in the lower bracket, only to find out they had to take on mG once again! This time, they won the rematch, and are now up against Logitech.fi!

Team Logitech.fi won all but one of their groupmatches, only slipping up against H2k (who await the winner of this match in the Lower Bracket Final) - They had a playoff experience similar to that of MGC, they beat Defeaters, only to end up against Wizards (the nail in their coffin it would appear!) - After having lost to Wizards in the grand final of last Season's CAL, the feat repeated itself in the EuroCup, and Logitech was off to the lower bracket! There, they beat Exotic, had a walkover win over 4K who dropped out, and ended up against Wizards again! This time, Logitech tasted the sweet taste of vengeance, and went on to the next round: the Team Logitech.fi vs. Team MGC Lower Bracket Semi-final we present to you!
