The Caps per Maps statistic doesn't show much difference for the high or low-cap maps. Anfra was played in every playoff match and we didn't get a lot of monsterscores. This meant that Access-Pro (played twice) was able to bunnyhop from the third spot over Anfra and Cita to the first spot. As you can see yourself

Lets look at the predictions Freakzilla made before the EC.

The top3 he made was 100% correct! The predictions he made previous season were also very close, can this guy look in the future?!
I say no, he's just someone who knows the teams really well and has a very good judgement.

Someone else in the community has a very good judgement and that's ADiTheMAN. The only wrong bet he made was thinking Sur would defeat iF - but let's face it, that was unbelievable... This meant ofcourse that ADi is the new CBookY champ, followed by Forgiven, oLLipop, Typhus and Jord!

I've sent an email to all Allstar players (14) 3 days ago and I only have 4 replies yet. Reply ASAP!!!
If I don't receive the necessary amount of emails by the 15th at 21.00CET we will be forced to cancel this Allstars-event.

Yes, it's true, the Allstars will not be played on Wednesday the 6th of June.
The reason is that a few ppl already said they weren't able to play - we could easily find replacements for them, but that would diminish the quality of the EC Allstars, so therefor we have decided to postpone the Allstars to a new date, which is still to be decided.

A new email will be send to the Allstar players once we find a new suiting day and hopefully all the selected allstar players are available that day.

"What is this?" you might say. Well, each day we will post 3 short interviews and a bit of information about the 3players until the EC Allstar day is upon us.
You will be able to guess a few players, but not all of them (i hope :p) by looking at their playerinfo and their answers on certain questions...

Yes, we have our Allstar players - thanks to 'everyone' their vote, we were able to select 14 ppl (7 from each group) for our Allstar event.

Selected?
Each player that has been selected has been sent an email from me at 23:10. They have also been given the instructions to keep their 'nomination' a secret until the day arrives.
Each player who received an email, please reply asap with the confirmation if you're able to play or not.

Teams?
The 14 selected players will be mixed by Zizi and myself into 2 "Allstar"-teams. The 2 players with the most votes have been crowned Captain.

When?
The Allstar game will be played on the 6th of June at 21.00CET.

What?
The match will consist of 3maps (not bo3, just 3 maps) selected from the cups maplist.

The 2 line-ups will be announced by Zizi and myself on the 6th of June (newsitem) - just to build up some tension and to keep you guessing who might or might not have made it.

pX was no match for bXar who confidently took control over the match.

I've been instructed by the Chief of Cups to make a little news item

Apparently some people seem to have a different interpretation of the rules. So here we have another news item regarding this whole matter:

Quoting the rules:

13. Match Rules - general.
"6. All clans are obligated to record serverside demos of all maps played. If clans can not make serverside demos then all players are obligated to record in eye demos of all maps played. Opponents are allowed to request any in eye demos within 1 hour after the match has ended. This request should be communicated to the opponent, cup admin and supervisor as soon as possible. Clans may only request demos when cheating is suspected. Failure to supply demos when asked will result in a forfeit loss."

So, you can request the demos from the enemy team within 1 hour and only if you suspect a player from cheating. Even if it doesn't say SSD, you should reflect the same spirit of those rules.

Now, we announce that certain clans haven't uploaded their maps. We do this multiple times already. ONLY now, we get some complaints by some people about the rules and some people didn't bother claiming wallhack till after they found a way to obtain a forfeit loss.

On the news item "Preview of the EC", I saw a lot of people referring to "luck" being a weak excuse to get in the playoffs. Well, this is even more weak to be honest. Demanding a forfeit loss for not uploading the demos of a match that has been played more than a week ago... I'm usually not found of threatening people if they deny any of my decisions with good arguments. But arguing over and over about something with no solid base or truth is unacceptable imo. So here goes: any claim like that, with wrong interpretation will receive a warning at first. If the situation gets worse, it will result in a yellow card , and eventually in a ban.

After the success in the UT2004 iCTF Open Cup, we have decided to organise "The Allstars EC"!

How it works?
Two teams of 7 players will be selected from the EC clans to play vs each other in a war which will consist of 3 maps!

How are the players selected?
Each clanleader (or acting-clanleader/captain of the iCTF squad) will select 7 players (3def, 4att) from the EC clans in their group and both the supervisors will select 14 players (6def, 8att) from all EC clans (7 per group).

Once you have selected your players, you have to send an email to both sups.
Your email should contain the following information:
1. Title has to be: UT2004 iCTF EC Allstars
2. You have to mention your nickname, clan
3. Your 7 selected players + their position

What is allowed?
- You are allowed to select MAX 3 players from 1 clan.
- You are only allowed to select 2 (att and def, not 2 att or 2def, ...) players from your own clan.

How will the 2 teams be made?
First of all, we will count how many times a player was selected and based on that we will have 7 players from each group.
The 2 players with the most votes will be a captain of one of the 2 teams.
Then, Zizi and myself will mix the remaining 12 players into 2 groups and there you have it, 2 teams of 7 players.

Which maps will be played?
Each team will have to choose 1 map and the 3rd map will be chosen by elimination.

When will "The Allstars" take place?
"The Allstars"-match will take place on June the 6th at 21.00CET. However, this is also the week where the finals will be played at. IF one of the 2 finals is going to be played on June the 6th, we will reschedule "The Allstars"-match to another date!

SECRET
Do not publish the names you have selected! We would like to keep the players/groups a secret until the day of the match.
The selected players will of course receive an email that they have been selected for the match.
