So it has come a time once again for me to have a little speech... *coughs a little and takes a sip of water*

As you all know...

You all must have noticed by now that this cup is a bit delayed... Why? Well, we had the double elimination system, and then lately we have had some UAC problems that has unfortunately delayed the cup even more.

Everyone, please stay calm. No need to head for the exit. Things like this happen sometimes and of course it's sad, but the show must go on. We will soon have an end to this cup, so no need to worry.

I guess we all noticed the flaming that happened in the previous subject here on the frontpage for this cup. XyB vs IT looked like a scary match to admin so of course I let my dear co:cupsup [CB]Csigacska be the referee of that match and I decided to be the little spy, the match coverer. ;) Everything looked promising... Anything could happen... At least that was what I thought.. :/

OK! The time is ticking and we are all in a hurry to get close to the Final in this cup. Now, XyB and IT, your roster is up so please agree on a matchdate! Thank you. :)

Well the BS 3on3 play-offs are finally here, wow that came around quick =^_^=

The first round of play-offs start on the 26th of November. Please schedule your matches a week in advance... You have time untill Sunday 25th! Then we start to force matches, like before.

The maps for round 1 will be:

If you win in your match this round you will move into the A3 position!
If you loose your match this round, you will move into a B5 position...

Remember that at least one from each clan MUST be present on IRC at the meeting time before the match.

As always there is a lot of feedback between seasons and we have been tweaking the General Cup rules in line with suggestions from Supervisors of the various games on ClanBase. It is very important that you familiarise yourselves with the Cup Rules linked in the top left menu, especially given that we won't be letting clans off lightly this season.

After receiving a lot of feedback from our Coverage Partners in previous seasons it seems that they are becoming increasingly frustrated trying to deliver a professional style service in an amateur environment. We're repeatedly told that after organising Shoutcast/Gaming TV Coverage to matches they find very often these matches are either delayed or rescheduled when they shouldn't be. This mirrors the opinions of the ClanBase Management that online gaming can only grow if it's partipants behaviour changes for the better.

We have finally now got the rules up and going.

Here are a few key points about the rules you should know about.

The top 2 ranking clan from their group will progress through to the play-offs.

We are piloting the new GUID requirements within matches now.
Please be sure to set-up and read the rules about GUID's. It's a requirement for all players wishing to play in the cup.

We will give way to the 24 hour GUID rule providing it's your first entry.
If you can't get your GUID onto your ClanBase account in time, let your referee know the GUID before the match
This is a temporary measure only and will only be accepted once.

Please also check out the Cheating section within the rulebooks it has some new rule additions.
This season we will hopefully be able to run a double elimination play-off.
Which means you have to loose 2 matches in the play-offs to be out of the running's for a gold cup.
More information on this will be released later.

What its that time of yeah again?
Where did it all go. Anyway, last season we saw an interesting season arise. It was most certainly a big one, but also at the same time, strangely usual.
The biggest factor for this of course was the game mode choice, well this season we're going to spice things up with something different.

ClanBase presents to you fine Swat 4 players 2 Open Cups.
A Barricaded Suspects 3on3 and also finally (some would say) a Rapid Deployment 5on5 cup.
Who says we don't listen? ;)
