The moment we have all been looking forward too has finally come! The Final of the EuroCup XVI!
This final is not just any final, but a true Finnish clash! A long-awaited battle to determine which clan can crown themselves as the best Finnish CS:S Clan, as well as this season's EuroCup champions, all molded into one!

In the blue corner, last season's runner-up and a name that is synonymous with the ClanBase EuroCup, Team Logitech.fi! In the red corner, an oldskool line-up representing their new-found home and well-known organisation, Four-Kings!

The EuroCup experience the players in these teams have is immense. We're looking at a top-shelf clash here folks!

Team Logitech's road to the final was almost perfect, they suffered just a single loss against Infused-Gaming in the group-stages. The rest of their groupmatches were quite the sight, coming out victorious against both SPEED-LINK and WebOne!
The play-offs were even better, the unexpected no-show win over last year's winners, fnatic started them off pretty well. They went on to beat the Dutch clan DCC Gaming, who looked very promising, but have since folded, with a killer-score of 16 to 2 rounds! Their latest victory probably the most unexpected one. In a repeat of last season, the Finns destroyed Meet Your Makers's only chance for a spot in the finals! Will this awesome history assure them victory?



The other contestant, Four-Kings has the excact same repertoire. 1 loss in the group stages (against that same DCC Gaming that Logitech beat) and the rest went absolutely smooth! They easily defeated Wizards and the deadly-Bullets, with respectively 16-5 and 16-6.
Their play-off stages was even better! Defeating toppers such egamespoint and Reason-Gaming, making up for that groupstage loss by far. The absolute crown however was their victory (with 32-18) over the German powerhouse of gaming, ALTERNATE aTTaX! Something to be proud of for sure!

As for the mapchoices, de_contra seems to be a popular pick for both teams, but they can't both choose the same map, and they might be reluctant to pick a map of which they know their opponent is equally trained. Other favourable maps for both teams include de_nuke and de_inferno. Or could this match become a triple header, deciding who are the "Kings of Contra" as well? (Pun intended)
