Another season has past and yet another cup has finished and brings closure to the spring Urban Terror season. The cup certainly had its highs and downs but i feel it was quite a good "pilot" season for our very first CTF cups. Some rules need changing and we hope to improve this a bit next season, but we feel that overall the 2x10 minutes format is the best for UrbanTerror and its non-symmetrical maps, however the hot potato duration was certainly too long in the end and prevented a lot of action in wars but this will be changed next season!

Final Ranking:
1st: just Fraggin
2nd: Power Puff Girlz
3rd: Team Haagenti
4th: Boulets Ultra Graves

Anyway let's get down to the facts & final ranking. It comes as no surprise to see just Fraggin at the top undefeated, proving that they definitely are one of the best UrbanTerror team around in Europe and certainly the best CTF team. Power Puff Girlz comes as a close and logical second, while they didn't seem to stand much chances at the beginning of the season, their CTF game has certainly improved a lot in those last few weeks, unfortunately not enough to bring down jF from their throne.

Team Haagenti proves that they are certainly a team to watch out for in the next season and for their very first participation in a CB competition they finish with a bronze cup behind their name. Finally Boulets Ultra Graves comes at a very surprising fourth place, and while they had quite an easy ride in the playoffs they still managed to show some great action to anyone who doubted them.

Another Urban Terror cup is reaching its end and another final is coming around. Two of the favorites of the cup are meeting to decide who will leave with the gold and who will only get the silver. just Fraggin' is meeting Puff for a final that CTF fans simply can not miss. While jF is definitely the favorite of this match in everyone's mind, Puff has shown a very strong increase in their CTF skills those last few weeks and are certainly eager to get a gold medal after their bronze in the TS cup. That's it, only 2 (or 3) matches to go before the end of the cup. The lower bracket final will see hg playing against Puff. Whoever wins that game will be the grand finalist and will face jF for the gold. As for the loser, well, they will still have a bronze medal to hang around their neck!

After a close match against bug, hg goes to the Lower Bracket Final where they will face puff for a place in the grand final.

The Upper Bracket Finals have now been played which means we know the first team that will be fighting for the gold. It doesn't come as a surprise to anyone that jF is that team, they have been the favourite of the competition since the start and have not failed so far. The second finalist is still to be decided between hg, BUG and Puff. The third lower bracket match will see hg facing BUG in order to decide who will be facing puff in the LB final.

Lower Bracket Round 3 should be played before Monday 16th of June. The matchs have already been created and forced, however teams can reschedule as long as their opponent agrees.

We're now in Week 3 of the playoffs and we now know who are the Upper Bracket Finalist, jF and Puff. But the competition doesn't stop here for end and pro5, as they will now face BUG and hg respectively.

All the teams are invited to start scheduling their matchs as soon as they are created. Lower Bracket Round 2 should be played before Monday 9th of June while the Upper Bracket Final should be played before Monday the 16th. We would like to remind you guys that wildcards are not available anymore so make sure you can play on the date you challenge your opponent. We would also like to notice the teams that from the second playoffs round we will allow a lot less time to scheduling before forcing matchs.

After three intense and close maps, we now know who will face jf in the UB Finals.

The match started at 22:30 only to finish at 2:20 AM. It took no less than 6 overtimes on Riyadh to finally know who would advance to the next round and who would be eliminated from the cup.
