After such a show, it is time to say Goodbye.
It was maybe our very first season but with 16 nations joining, it was the hell of a Cup. Against all odds, we had Nederlands getting the 3rd place right in front of the team Sweden wich started the cup as favourite. No matter how everyone tryed, especially Germany, but no one could prevent the Portugal to get the first place.
To sum up, here are the winners :
1. Portugal
2. Germany
3. Netherlands
In the end, I would like to congrats the winners, all the teams that showed up in this cup and made it run quite smoothly. I would also thanks Spawn for all the incredible work done up here as well as the admins and TsN that spared their times for this Cup. However, I would like to say that with the next cup coming along, we wont show as much flexibility in the next season as we did on that one when it comes to games shedulling. It was just too much. So war arrangers, be sure to check your calendars twice.
Expect much more Shoutcasting, Broadcasting and maybe some surprises in the next coming Nation Cup. GL everyone !

It was a slow war combined with fast action and lots of defensive tactics followed with fast rushes. And not to forget the many headP00Pshots. It had all a cup needed except a close score after map 1. POR already won the war after Abbey with an 8 round lead going to Casa, but GER tried more then 100%, but only closed the gap to 6 at the end of Casa making it 19-13 for POR after map 2.

Hehe, The underdog wins again!! I am certain many people favoured SWE to take the third place and thought that NED had a 30% chance of winning. NED has shown them they know nothing about statistics hehe. We had some trouble getting the show on the road, with Falcon not being able to connect (something about invalid password). NED quickly changed Falcon with =[LKFF]=Mallory right before the game started. You’d think NED would be in the disadvantaged position, having to make this last minute change, which might interrupt with their tactics. Guess again…

Our first UrT Nations Cup is now slowly driving to an end ...
But well its not done yet ! The final as well as the battle for the third place still have to take place in this cup. In the final we will be able to enjoy the POR team wich really outstanded all of their opponents until now and the GER team wich defeated against all odds one of the best team in the cup, SWE. The runner - up for the third place will be the NED team wich was proved really strong too. So stay stuned !! Games are being sheduled as we speak and we should be able to bring you guys GTV as well as Shoutcasting by TsN. All this for more gaming pleisure.

The score doesn't reflect the true nature of the game as both clans seemed to be on the same level. GER showed a bit more teamwork from timt to time, but SWE rushes on Abbey almost made GER tumble down from their lead. GER regained control with tactical and sometimes aggresive play. A deserved 16-9 victory from GER, but a big thanks to SWE for giving a great show.

To my surprise a fair server was found rather quickly, forcing the outcome of the game to be determined by skill. POR had clearly the better snipers. Many NL deaths were caused by shiny sr-8 bullets launched from POR’s polished sniper rifles. The game started out slow, but they picked up the pace later on in the game, which was good for the viewers on GTV (full, very sorry for the people who weren’t able to connect), the shout cast and of course for me, hehe. Casa was tactical, Abbey was fun…(prepare yourselves for a long read!!)

At the start, it looked to be a tense game, and it proved to be just that. Only in the last few minutes were we all sure who would turn out the winner here.

Don't expect to see any real info 2.6a related in here. Just browse the actual newsite or check CB frontpage for more info. Still as specified in the rules, the cup will be played with the latest patch. The cup is now 2.6a, this including the coming wars and the coming season.
You can get the patch from our ftp.
Happy fragging all.

It was a long war with a lot of restarts, mainly due to one AT member having hardware problems.... 5 restarts needed in 2 maps, resulting in a final score of 26 for SWE and 13 for AT as my screenshots told me.

PT beats UK with a nice score of 15-7. Both maps were played well by the teams, considering the situation they were fighting in. Server had issues, but everyone suffered from them just as much, so this time you can't blame the loss on the lag ;)

I am quite sure the topic says it all,
In brief, the CB UrT Cups break are over.
I really hope u enjoyed those holidays as well as i did.
Now let's hope the new year starts on some kick ass games and news !

To all the teams that made it to the playoff, its time to get your war sheduled.
Tell your war arranger he got until sunday 12th 00:00cet to shedule the coming game.
If its not done, we will get it done ... so better do it and remember to read the rules.

Happy Fragging and Good Luck to all !
May the best win !.

In Brief, match entries and trees are up !

I wont take much of my time on that christmas eve day to describe the whole tree.
The most importants are the dates, Clan leaders and War arrangers will have to start sheduling their games from the 6th january and agree on some date time before the 13th January. Hell yes the 13th january the first games are gonna be played.

I wish every clan some happy fragging.
And of course Spawn and me as well as the whole CB staff wish u a merry Xmas !.

Casa was played normal, not a lot of rush, not a lot of camping. But abbey was rush, rush, rush. A great war :)
