As some may have noticed all of the group games have ended and the play off trees are made. As of Now you have 48 hours to challange your opponent and set a matchdate. After that we will force every match left.

Be sure to read up on the rules about play off games here. Be sure to read it carefully.
Also adding players to the Allowed Players List is now restricted to 1 player during the play off stage ONLY if you did not previously add 3 players during the group phase.

Do not forget that during the play off stage all results must be sent to both supervisors in less then 24 hours after the match. Results not recieved will result in both teams dropping from the cup.

Thank you.

If you haven't noticed before we still have some problems with people reporting their scores. This is mostly due to people not sending their scores to us.
Read here about how to report your scores. Even if your game has coverage by ETTV you must still send us the score. Don't forget to add the matchinfo to the mail.
Send the screenshots of the score to both supervisors .

To add players to the apl you must have the clanleader fill in the form in the rules found here. We will not add players for you.
Any player not added before matchtime is not allowed to play the match and only 3 players duruing the group stage or less then that and 1 in the play off stage are allowed to be added.

To avoid any kind of problems with match results, here are the possible ways to report your result

Report a normal result:
E-mail ALL screenshots to a supervisor. Include the result and the link to match details.

Report a noshow:
E-mail a screenshot of the match to a supervisor. Include the result and the link to match details. Logs are no proof, because they're changeable.

Report a wildcard:
E-mail to a supervisor before match time that you use your wildcard . As soon as the wildcard is entered, you can rechallenge your opponent. If no date was agreed within 48 hours, supervisors will force the match. Using your wildcard after match time will result in a forfeit loss.

All results must be e-mailed within 48 hours after match time! Failure in doing will result in a double noshow. Two noshows means removal from the cup!
Results reported 3 days after match time will not be accepted!

Some of the rules have changed slightly and some have been added to better handle difficult situations that happen often in ClanBase Cups. Here is a small overview of the important rules everyone should know.
    Group Ranking rules:

    1. Number of Wins.
    2. Number of Draws.
    3. Result of the matches between tied clans. (E.g. 2 clans are tied clan A wins from B. Clan A ranks higher then B. / 3 clans or more: Clan A wins from clan B and C, and clan B wins from C. Then the ranking is 1 = A / 2 = B / 3= C)
    4. Net Secondary points shown on the ranking page (E.g 24/10 - Net Secondary points are 24 - 10 = 14). Be that flags / mapwins / rounds / tickets.
    5. Positive Secondary points shown on the ranking page (E.g for 24/10 Positive Secondary points are 24).
    6. Least number of forfeits/noshows.
    Allowed players List added rule:

A player cannot be added to the APL later than the starting time of the match. Using a player that is added later than the match starting time will result in a Yellow Card and a forfeit loss of the match.

Welcome to the Enemy Territory 5on5 StopWatch Summer Cup 2008.

Your supervisors for this season are Bartichello and mUnduS.

Schedule

  • Signups open - 6th of June
  • Signups close - 18th of June
  • Groups created - 22th of June
  • First matchweek - 30st of June
  • First playoff round - 28st of July
  • Season ending - 17th of August

Rules

As in every cup the rules can be found under the rules section in your Cup menu to your left. Please make sure you read and understand the rules properly, if you have questions regarding the rules or if you see any mistakes in the rules then do not hesitate to contact a supervisor. It is best for everyone if any errors or misunderstandings can be dealt with before the cup instead of during the cup.

Admins

Every season we ask for dedicated admins to help out the supervisors with uploading screenshots and making matchreports. This season is no different so here we go, we are looking for people who can:

  • Speak and have decent written English
  • Write interesting matchreports, interviews or predictions
  • Make well thought out and impartial decisions

Feel like you're up for the task, don't hesitate to sign up. Of course, you can also simply sign up to upload the screenshots of your own match, so you can make the cuppage a bit more interesting for all to see.

Last, but definitely not least, we would like to welcome everybody to the Summer 2008 cupseason! Lets make it a shiny season together.
