To add to this if anticheats were bang up to date there would be no exact need for demo's or the harsh carding system for not uploading demos. As such while SafeGame and XRAY form 2/3's of a line of defence against cheating the other 1/3 of the line is SERVERSIDE DEMOS. This is what caught your player cheating and not the other 2/3s. The demos are much a part of the anti-cheat measure as the 2yr old out of date SafeGame or the visually stunning and deterrent of XAC.

People can witch hunt all they like. If he's clean the conclusion is the same and they look pathetic.
If you find people are correct and find a cheat you can guess that when we view it and confirm it you look silly.

There has been witch hunts before and we have not agreed with and will not comment on. They should take it as a compliment they're that good. If we convict them they wasnt that good and the community helped us point out another cheat.

Aye there is no excuse for the flaming in either direction. Just shows how irritated people are on both sides of the fence really. I let it go over my head.

antittcc aint used in CB matches ,u are pro so u should have know that Safegame is used. Safegame is like 2years old, xray can only show "visible" cheats like wallhack / radar/ rendbone/rend collision. every newer hook, or the private hacks u buy on inet, are all safegame and antitcc safe. wich means they cannot detect them. for detecting an aim/trigger demowatching is the only option, coz they bypass all anticheat software. only the older known cheats can be catched with safegame. what u said only prooves that you do not have any knowledge about anything at all, and u are naiv, and u defend a cheater. wich is same bad by me then cheating. maybe open your eyes...

You cant blame BB for defending the him as in effect you are defending the result more than anything. There are some players who would have tried their absolute best to get as far as they have. There are threads saying they're sorry for the clans who have lost where Jero has played.

I am sorry I was unable to post on the thread till now...

Myself and the rest of the ACT have been reviewing the case brought forward by the community and have decided without question there is multiple cheating going on in these demos.

The evidence some of you highlighted was clear indications of cheating and there was some evidence that was not noticed. There was also some stuff you guys picked on as a clutching at straws.

There is definate radar going on.
As for botting I do not see anything trigger bot like if I am honest but I do see some cases of snap headshots. There is no other point across these demos where that kind of snappy aim or anything close to that kind of snappyness that was done in order to get a hit (even any misses) which shows a complete lack of consistency with the headshots shown in the demo. My assumption from this is that he was indeed using an aimbot.
This goes in to a package of various cheats which means he may or may not of had other systems working at the same time to help with the preservation of ammo and other stuff.

Anyone who is caught cheating is always defended by those around them who say their friends. It is to be expected and is quite normal. The real test is to see how they react to it in the long run. The knee-jerk reaction is to say it's all wrong and try to overturn the ban. This of course will not happen but after that would be the period of most interest on how they continue.

Thanks again to the community of which knowledge of this would not have lead us to conclude in the banning of a cheat.

I watched the demo on goliath and specced jero. I can believe some of the real nice shots. But to me it looks dodgy because it looks like instant hits when coming around a corner but it doesn't look like the crosshair is snapping to the target. So suppose it's cheat (no i didn't read all of the above) i think it's trigger + wallhack (or Z-depth exploit). And when i was thinking hhmm it could be that i noticed he used the teleporter at the perfect times. When above at the teleporter with the rotating thingy he looks at the spot where to shoot the bio, but if he has indeed a wallhack he also looks at the teleporter at the other side of the map.

Anyway as i would describe jero as a player (without cheats) i would say: Really nice reaction and prediction. knows really well how to move fast in the map.
But the the bad points: lousy combo's and also bad movement in duel situations and when there is a need to take cover.
The good points are REALLY good and the bad points are just BAD. If jero has 5 year experience and is as good as he says he is i wonder why movement and combo's suck. At one time he even miss a combo while standing still :S (goliath mid level to outside above shock platform).

Also it's strange at the score of 7-4 when he spawn at teleporter above rotating thingy and first looks at where to shoot bio to do bio jump. Then he takes teleporter and get's into a duel with a guy and he uses shock. But he is shooting the pilar where the guy is behind. I also sometimes hit walls or pilars but then in a sweep of my mouse but this guy was just in front of him for a while. I mean it's just strange to shoot pilars when ur THAT good.

So all i'm saying about jero is that it looks dodgy nothing more or nothing less.

ontopic: I just watched a part of your rankin demo in 1/4 speed and there are some strange things happening. for instance you just spam randomly with rockets and combos when there are clearly no enemy's around (so far for your capability to predict everyone's move.....) you shoot dead bodies :/... when in fight with your enemy and holding LG, not really the case with shock rifle you allways shoot exactly when your aim is on the enemy, whether he's in sight, you turn around and your aim happens to cross him or when he just goes around the corner or behind a ramp, you just shoot the exact spot where he is at. this might not be the case every single time but it was the case most of the time when i was watching the demo, further more you made a very nice reflex shots. it also appals me that you're not skilled at all. anyone watching his POV on the demo, how can you call this player skilled or claim this. the only thing you do is shoot lg, spam shocks and shoot flak upclose to score your points the way you do. this should be researched quickly and swiftly by the ACT to get some clarity on the case and make a just and right decision.

I'm pretty sure you cheat though, the shots you do while turning 180° are amazing. Especially when you watch the demo at 1/4 speed. He does follow guys through walls as well, and aims at the floor while dodging. But as I said see you in a few months, if the ATC is as reactive as it usually is you have plenty of time left to "enjoy" the game.

Oh come on, there is no valid anti-cheat to catch trigger for this game except demos and right ppl to watch em. NOBODY said anything about a radar so shut the fuck up with your XAC-shit k? That is because Safegame is outdated which means it does not catch all the cheats out there, this is why demos ARE required because that is the best way to verify a cheat.

First off I haven't seen the demos so I can't say that jeronimus is a cheater. Second of all the reasoning mari has even surpasses me, go figure. Third of all even if APOTA had won, jeronimus still wouldve been a suspiscious player because people have doubts about him longer than just this game. Demos are a good way to check if someone is actually cheating. I would say let the ACT go about this case and judge him asap, because if jeronimus did cheat. That would mean it's a game deciding factor and the game either needs to be replayed or APOTA gets the default win.

Pls show me, i would love to see where i "shoot fishy". I haven't said anything in this discussion, I don't like to accuse someone for cheating til i find something "fishy". Ive watched the demos, twice on Goliath, it doesn't get more obvious then that. Proper cheat his using, 2 cm sens and hits 100% everytime a body passes his crosshair total bs. I hope and i think CB admins are already looking into this, they will most likely see the same as all the other players that doesn't come from the BB community.

hmm.. watched demo on rank.. his crosshair always looks down and then he hit from light and flak 100%.. then he spam to decrease his % of aim.. shooting the walls from light.. looks like he is clever cheater, and his cheats works by pressing some button, just on/off on/off, just imho

there are also numerous fishy shots that no way can be legit. Fe. on goliath 1-0 and 1:20 remaining, the very first millisecond & pixel you can actually shoot the guy it automaticly hits hs even tho crosshair is pointing totally different direction just before the hit.
