The end is here!

It's done! The Call of Duty 4 S&D Promod 2on2 Fall 2008 OpenCup has finished! After weeks of intense matches and unfortunately also no shows, the end of the cup has been reached. This 2on2 cup was something new we wanted to try and besides the no shows we think this cup has still been a succes! The requirements we set at the beginning of the cup did worked out, but still we think these need to be even more strict unfortunately. We will surely be looking into this next season. A cup this big is hard to cover, but still our thanks go out for all the referees and writers who filled in scores and made reports. But time to see the list of the winners!

As mentioned earlier some missing results were causing some delays but now all the matchresults from last matchweek have been entered. Therefor the second week is now here upon us. The thing is, this week you have to schedule the matches yesterday meaning you have almost no time. We're forcing the remaining matches not scheduled on Wednesday 3rd in the evening.

I may sound like a broken record saying this, but there are still results missing from the first week of Playoffs. If you haven't posted the result on the cupforum as you must do for each match, please do so as soon as possible. This is causing a delay for all remaining clans in this OpenCup. Roster and Playoff tree will be updated as soon as all these results are done. Please check Roster on a daily basis as it may be updated with more matches as soon as possible.

Time for the playoffs!

After several intense matchweeks and unfortunately a massive ammount of no shows, it's time to get the playoffs started! It's time to seperate the men from the boys as we are about to start the 1/16 Finals upcoming Monday 24 November! As you might have read from the rules, the best 3 from each group advances to the playoffs. If your group doesn't have a #2 or #3, well consider yourself lucky as you advance a round for free! Anyway, let's hope we can stop the no shows from here on and let's finish this cup in style!
