First of all, i would like to apologize for the delay related to this traditional "endofcupstory". I dont feel we really have much things to say. Well it is true that we had a bad start with some teams like UK, CAN just giving up. Like if the Nations were just some ladder. No kidding i would lie if i could just say "its ok". This actually pissed me off quite much. Anyway, on another hand, the other matches were sheduled on times, the quality was around, we had some stuning performance from some teams. The admins did some nice job too, we had some good casts and gtv so overall it went pretty good. Maybe just the bronze final that didnt got the attention the teams deserved. The bit of fun was we found the 4 same teams to get onto finals & Bronze finals than past season. As a matter of fact, we cant deny that those nations have the best players. I did not wanted to say anything but now i am getting close to what we could call spamming. So i will leave the shitshat talking for IRC and get on with the expected results.

Hell Yea, POR hold the Nations Cup winners title, for the second time in a row they are coming up first !. SWE did way much than previous season and achieved to get the second place. Netherlands, well hey seems they like their third place, and actually its not bad at all. Germany fought hard but couldnt reach the final this season. However they get the 4th place.

I would like to thx all the admins and especially drizzt, spawn for the work they have done. And no i will not forget our TsN shoutcasting team :

The last match of the Nationcup IV was played between NL and GER. It looked like NL really wanted to get the 3th spot cause they played very well !!! I was only able to admin the first map... soz for that guys.

After a double map win and some great teamplay team POR made sure that the trophy a'la nations cup stay with them. Team SWE did fight back but, not enough. After some delay due to server problems (as always) the game started. The expected 'clash of the titans' became a slow and waiting game, but not without it's moments.

After a slow game at casa with some nice skills from bouth side, we started abbey with same style, but suddenly something happent as Portugal players were everywhere and killed everything.

As some perceptive visitors might have noticed, the matches Portugal vs. Germany (NC) and blue velvet vs. Execution Squad (OC) are both scheduled for the same time (namely Sunday 8th of June, 22:00 CET). But since both matches deserve to be shoutcasted, and it would be unfair to pick one of the two over the other, we've found a solution for this.

The blue velvet vs. Execution Squad match will still be played on the agreed time, like normal, but the Portuguese and German teams have agreed to reschedule the game to the near future. No date is known yet, but we'll let you know as soon as we know. Because of this, both matches will feature shoutcasting by Oswald and Vansilli. We thank both teams for cooperating with us.

Update: the match POR-GER will be played coming Sunday (15th of June) at 22:00 CET!

An excelent fight between the favourite SWE, and the cool guys from NED! Tension till the end, and like the subject says, NED loosed this game but they were very good, and both clans gave us a good match! That's what the croud wants!

After some great clanbase actions and some rough games, four nations out of the 16 we had at start, managed to get at this stage. No real surprises too, like past season Sweden, Netherlands, Portugal and Germany are battling for the victory. Lets take a quick view on the upcoming matches...

Very good game, both sides using their own gameplay style and on this semi final clash of titans Ger taked the lead and kept it until the end ...

PT and SLO showed us a tactical match with long and short rounds... The game was "sponsored" by Clanbase GTV server and Shoutcast from Oswald. We saw lots of individual killing spree's and also, the luck...

As of today, Spawn resigned as admin here on ClanBase, and I'm taking over again (both the cups and the main CB admin spot). Thanks Spawn, for all your work on the cups (Open and Nations), the ladders, and ClanBase in general!

What should have become a great battle between two great urban terror countrys turned into a massacre for be in the first map already. In abbey it was a tighter game, but it was still NED who got the upperhand.

Turnpike was enough for SWE players to win over PL. Although POL guys won the second map the first was too much in control of SWE, they couldn't do anything to change that.

FR had to win this match and score more then 11 roundpoints to make sure they would make it to the playoffs. Unlucky they had to face a strong nation such as Portugal...

GAME RESULT is a DEFAULT WIN for DEN . BRA used a non legit lineup.Alyger is playing in two Brasilian clans and therefore he was considered as being an UT player not an IM player. 3 players from the same clan is not legit. Rules are rules.

Unfortunatelly Austria could not come up with 5 players. So they lost third game forfeit.
