It is time to announce the winners !
Congratulations to them, and to all the others that took part in this cup, nothing would have happened without your signups.

In the premier league, just Fraggin once more claimed the gold, in a thrilling final match of about 3 hours and 5 maps (and an overtime on one of those) against »Frenetic Online Xtermination«. They proved to be the best CTF clan at the moment, although being extremely close with -fox-.
The 3rd place goes to Power Puff Girlz, winning not so easily over Demons and Furies.

The second once more proved to be interresting, with Falcons Team having an easy ride through the whole cup until the final against Veni Vidi Vici, where the 3 maps were quite close.
Another French team holds the 3rd place, the Section Finger, who defeated the unexpected russian clan Loaded Arms, who managed to get the 4th place in their first appearance in an OC, by winning over ikaria.

Lots of things happened this season, some were good, some not.

First of all, I'd like to mention the huge increase of cheaters. More than 15 bans have been issued during the OC's. We do hope those were the last ones stupid enough to cheat in a free game where you have almost nothing to lose (and win). To all those cheaters (although we hope that noone is cheating anymore), beside spoiling the fun of the others, you are also killing the game. There's no point in playing in a public server against players who are blatantly botting - thus you're killing the public servers, the only mean to bring new blood in the game - , and there's also no point in trying to play some matches if you don't play against humans. Let's hope that the release of the 4.2 is close, or that another working anticheat solution will appear soon.

On another side, there was an attempt this season to bring something new, something different than the daily grind which was in place for a long time. Some parts worked, some others did not, all of this will be heavily reviewed and improved for the Spring season.

Finally, we'd like to thanks a lot all those who dedicated some of their time to help us, special thanks to dan for letting us a chance to have a CTF cup, the Urban-Zone broadcasting crew for letting us use their GTV servers or even broadcasting the matches by themselves, and last but not least, eMz for all the GTV sessions you provided.


On a last note, we would like to invite you to follow and take part of the upcoming UrT NationCup XIII. We have a record from the last season of 16 participating Nations to beat, and this can only be done with your help !
