At the begenning ,we are agree to play 2 map on [v] server and 2 on [gna] server. After ping test.

Each team play her map on opponent server.

For 1st map, we play on gna server (ironic). except Angel, [v] player have high ping when you look [gna] player :

DOUBLE.

Not fun for us to play that.
For 1st map, gna team have 17 ping advantage. So we play, and don't say anything.

Start 2nd map. I don't play 2nd map.

PS : angel don't play 2nd map on our server and he switch his 160 ping for 40 ping of trulli.

At the end, [v] team phone me to tell me ping is equal, at +/- 4 for us.

For a fair play game, i ask to play 2 remaining map on [v] server.

So you don't care, and say rules must be respect....

IMO the war isn't played. Score was draw. A 5th map was needed to decide a winner. You took 45min time to get to another serverdecision that was already made...I think we have the right of 20 min on another day to finish the map. But as I said. I don't think you'll win this cup. Nor any other. Camping in ctf and laming in dm.....But seemingly you don't care.....

Ad btw we're no heroes. But we atleast try everything to get a game going fair and finish it. That we did not have 4 members to play on 24.00 is imo normal. Cause people still ahve a normal life on friday. And that we arranged the war on a thursday @ 21 does not mean we have the time until 24.00

For us, a war began is a war ended, in 3 years of cb virus matchs, i think we never quit a war without finished it, even if we loose hard etc.., it's a story of respect. Or you must leave for importants reasons and you have to do forfeit without crying.

Just my opinion although I din't play because a g/f had her bitrhday yesterday. We GNA| have an attitude like..Just play the fucking game and have fun. I always hate servertesting because the outcome if it is almost never satisfieing for both clans. So far for the servers. Now the other part. Cryo saying v couln;t not play on another date. Why not play the dm map just before our ictf war..<<?. But it's to late already. I hope V enjoy thereself with there win. Because clans that need to win that badly can have they're win from my part.I just hope other clans won't be fooled with v. I always respected them. But now I hope that any other clan that encounters v in this srping cup. Uses every rule to the disadvantage of v. See how they like to be treathed like they did to us. Things like this just fuck up cups. People that deserve to win (not that we deserved to win) but people who really are good just get fucked because an other clan has no 'respect' to other clans. I followed a call for an admin yesterday evening (must have been before the 3rd map) though it was already 15 mins old in the chat and Ullr had taken care of what ever had happend. As he went to bed later on, I decided to stay and watch. Later on Angel took over, well prefered. Never the less, it ended as mentioned many times before, sadly, in my eyes.

I don't know, if you tested any other servers besides the two you played on. If you need more to choose from, a german or a uk server, please feel free to ask me on IRC (Twiyah). As we got helped out in our match on Tuesday it's no question to help you out too.

Come on, it's about who is better in game, not about who can beat the other clan by such a lame action. These things only fuck up cups. Accept it when you lose because the other team is better, and stop searching for lame reasons (which may be correct if you look at the rules) to beat your opponent without playing.

So just play that 5th map, and win or lose with dignity. This way, other clans only think of [v] as a lame clan which will try everything to get the win, if they can't win it in-game. Even when the opponent is showing goodwill by agreeing to play 2 maps on your server (after you agreed to play on GNA-server)...

Everyone knows that iTDM is a ping base game, i mean a 20 ping difference between two teams who nearly got the same skill level, makes the difference : everyone knows who will win in this case.

Facts :
- [v] pings on GNA server : 50 for beren, 60 choco, 65-70 for rigor and banz, at least 80 for cryo , plus loss (screens were send to the admin showing that loss)
- GNA pings on GNA server : 30 – 35 for Cronic, unexpected, Trulli, H^S, 90 for Angel.

- [v] pings on [v] server : an average of 40 - 45
- GNA pings on [v] server : 45-50 for Cronic unexpected, Trulli, H^S, 180 for angel. They were complaining about loss (and delay ?) but screens that were sent to the admin didn’t show that (though we can trust them)

Now my question :

Is it acceptable that a team with a high pinger on every server (angel to be precise) and with 4 guys with good pings everywhere can choose to play half of the game on a server (GNA server) where they could field 3 good players that outping everyone and then be sure of victory?

I personnaly think that this is REALLY lame and REALLY not a fair attitude and REALLY not acceptable : behaving like that results in frustrating the opponent, nothing more.

When [v] ask to play the two remaining maps on [v] server (where pings were quite the same for everyone &#61664; that is the most important thing imo, though there was a 5-10 ping advantage for [v] : just look @ the screens ), the only answer we had was :
« We don’t care if it’s fair or not, RULES say we agreed on a 2 servers war, we play like this till the end of the war ». GNA (of course) was right, so the match was played like that.


As far as the end of the war is concerned, both teams were angry, [v] players were all frustrated by that game (playing in itdm with twice the ping of opponents is really frustrating, believe me), and as none of GNA players that had to go to bed warned us, nor quit irc (except H^S, but he should have been a very fast writing person to warn us before his father unplugged his computer ), when unexpected said they were not enough to play anymore, virus was thinking « wtf are they doing now, they won’t go to bed now, let’s just play 20 minutes now and finished this shitty war now» (i told you we were just frustrated). It seems that GNA players didn’t give a f*** about that and 2 of them (i think) still went to bed, hoping we would have changed our mind, but we didn’t..

Now to be honest, i don’t think that there is an innocent clan and a guilty one .. both have did things wrongly yesterday, resulting in a poor boring war. Now, let’s find today a server that would fit both clan for the ictf cup (cause we have a match to play).. just to avoid that ictf war to be as shitty as this itdm war.

before the match it was decided to play on the GNA server.
so GNA could have been lame at that and stuck to that decission but the great sportsmanship clan they are they agreed on a 2 server game after the first map was allready played.

But maybe its a good idea for the next time that you have a server conflict try and get a neutral server. enough clans are willing to lend there server for a cupwar.
A simple: /amsg Is there a clan that wants to lend there server for a cup match because we are having a server conflict? plz pm me. Can do wonders

GNA were my favorites for cupwin, now they are out ..................but the way it happens is even suckier

Right order of the maps:
ironic(them), antalus(us), grendel(them),compressed(us)

Their homemaps where won by us on our server, and visa versa, shows it was a war decided by servers.

after 15 min we finally start ... between 2nd and 3rd map we have been waiting in our server to play grendel ,3 people of V in server, and after 15 min I noticed they where whining against a admin about servers. Admin said that 2 server was decided, to we continued playing that way.

In grendelkeep H^S dropped cause of his "slightly" flamable parents pulled out his power again. Also the reason we lost compressed. and after compressed we didn have 4 people, and V did themself proud, and said they didnt want to end this war in a decent way.

Cause of the 45-50 minutes waiting of you, we had a member shortage at 23:30/23:45 ? The waiting was because of you, so that makes your choice of wining this way even more lame. I had a good image of V, but this outcomes shows how they really want to win, cause you know you wouldnt have stand a chance with our full team. But FBM didnt have their full team either last week, so Im not complaining about that.

Compliments to beren though, I never heard hime lame, not about servers, didnt had a big mouth on irc (not that I noticed), and he was defenitly the best player from V. Played the maps and the war like they should be played. V can learn alot from this "trial" player...

tbh this match was decided by the servers. on an equal server (as ours where the ping difference was 10-20ms for the teams) we were able to beat them, not even with our first team.... imo its not unclear who's better of these 2 teams, we were just lamed =/

tested both servers before the matches. we agreed to play the matches on both servers because GNA|Angel had a ping of >160..

after having played 2 matches, the "bl44t" started, about the servers.. V didn't want to play the next match on GNA server again.. although

they agreed to this at the servertesting. after like 50 minutes whining on IRC, the admin just said that the match has to be played like it was agreed before.

while playing grendelkeep, GNA|H^S had to leave bcuz of his parents, so i had to take his place.. grendelkeep was played on the gna server..

after this map we played compressed on the V server.. GNA|Angel couldn't play becuz of his ~160 ping, so we had to ask base.

I couldn't hit shit on the V server, the match before on a "server without shotdelay" i could hit like almost evertyhing. bcuz of this, the match ended in a win for V. ping was ok tho.. but there was a huge strange feeling/delay whatever

after compressed was finished, GNA|Base and Cronic had to leave too, so we had only 3 people left (Angel with the ~160 ping on their server).

The CB rule is.. when both clans agree, the last map clan be played on another day.

we asked in the CB channel to play the 5th map on another day... and without any thinking about it.. V said "no".. ty for cooperating with us

so friendly V.. i dont like clans with this style.. if you want to win this way.. it's just a game... and i do want to have fun while playing

it. 2night i really haven't gotten any fun.
