First level: q3w3 (217.20.119.21:27992 )

Sorry for late report but I was too busy to do it.

After one the fastes serversearches (1 minute) we started with q3w3 broken's mapchoice. I expected a defensive and boring game here as always on w3 but the teams played from the beginning on a agressive offense and it was broken who capped first at 2:40 after calipt made a really nice flagrun and capped with 6 health.

Broken continued their strong offense while S? had problems to beat broken defense especially dioxin who made a really nice defense. With the second PU round solar was able to get the enemy flag for broken and capped after 30 secs flagrun to the 2:0 lead.

After 7-8 mins it seemed like dioxin got the order to play more offensive and pushed brokens strong offense. S? had really hard probs to get brokens flag and when they got it they never had it for a long time and so they played quite defensivly and tryed to avoid a third cap by broken.

Second level: q3ctf2 (217.20.119.21:27992 )

Second map was q3ctf2 and S? first map choice. As everyone knows c2 is a rail mid map I expected a tied here with not that many flagtouches.

Map started like I expected it. Both teams directly placed 1 good railer and their rail and he camped their. For broken it was blade who had a really impressive rail. He didn't let anyone into broken's base and it was really hard for S? in the first mins even to come over the mid.

Because mid was camped and full of rails many attacks were done by going through the water. But they were mostly unsucessful and as you can see on the flagtime of both teams nothing really intresting happend. Just a few flagtouches and around 30 secs flagtime for both teams.

Nice instagib boring CTF

Third level: q3wcp1 (217.20.119.21:27992 )

Third map was q3wcp1. This map is always nice caps flagrunns and defense work. I thought S? would to everything to win here because if the would lose they would lose the final. Broken needed to win this map if the didnt want to play a 4th map.

Broken started directly extremly offensive and got S?'s flag 4-5 times in the first min. But after 2 mins it seemed like S? coordinated their defense and play more concentrated and there was no more way for broken to get S? flag. Because of the nice defense of BlaD3 and di0xin S? also didn't get enemy flag.

thefou for S? was able to get the flag several times but never came out of enemy base cause broken was camping everywhere he might come out. After 16:50 it was lord for broken who got the enemy flag and ran through the enemy garden a support with him and he capped after 17:25.

After the lord capped for the lead broken seemed to chill out as they knew they won this final and S? lost.

Unfortunately this final wasn't very exiting and full of caps and only 3 maps were played which not many people expected.

S? was the favorite for this final but tbh I think this final was their worst game during this EC. They didn't played really well and way under their skill in my opinion and they didn't seem to really win that final otherwhise they would have played another way. But anyway S? showed us n1 games during this EC and for a clan who came up from OC winner to EC finalist a 2nd place is not that bad :).

Broken played a fantastic EC and not many poeple said at the beginng of this EC that the finalist of OC last year would be the winner of this EC. Broken has beaten many old and damn good clans like FOE for example. They always showed us impressive teamplay and impressive individual skill. Especially calipt broken's star player is responsibel for broken's impressive play. I think broken will be a hot candidate for the next EC final if there will be one.
