Round 1 Probably one the most important rounds of the game to give the winning team the momentum to do the same in round 2. It starts off with me following defusekids with the push towards middle and B, but not for too long as Fuchsstute takes down woobai with a cracking rifle shot from Back B, Nightwalker seeing off JakkiePee leaving SPEEDLINK 5 men up, with sloom, yazzY and Stevy gathering main street hoping for a peak from SPEEDLINK. It came with Nightwalker Raring up the MG mutilating sloom and calling upon Stevy to revenge frag with the M1, phY1 scoping yazzY down near the Arches and Stevy saying hello to Trigger up in hole house. 0-1 SPEEDLINK

Round 2 defusekids push down mid street towards hole house, followed by a timed grenade by Trigger taking out woobai & sloom, making it 5-3 but sloom managed to let off a grenade killing teammate yazzY and almost instantly after JakkiePee was sniped by the on form phY1, leaving Stevy on his lonesome again vs 5 Angry Germans, and was quicly dispatched by phY1 on the allied main street. 0-2 SPEEDLINK.

Round 3 Just as things looked promising with Sloom getting a Grenade kill, and an M1 frag in basement, the tides changed with Nightwalker Opening up on yazzY, Stevy and JakkiePee and claiming all 3! Frags. And also z1N taking sloom out of the picture. 0-3 SPEEDLINK

Round 4Starting pretty much the same as the others, slow by defusekids and then SPEEDLINK using their advantage to pick of wary Belgium players making round 4 another hard one for defusekids with 4 men down and Stevy on his own again! Managing to get himself a revenge frag on Nightwalker in the MG house he continued to crouch all the way but from my POV was cut off in all directions, great teamwork from SPEEDLINK saw Fuchsstute give Stevy a surprise just outside the A bomb site. 0-4 SPEEDLINK

Round 5 Saw Sloom & woobai both picking up Frags and things seemed to be going defusekids way until Nightwalked and Fuchsstute evened it up 3 a piece and it was back to square one. Fire was exchange between both sides and it was left down to woobai and JakkiePee to claim this round, Fuchsstute wasn’t having any of this and put JakkiePee down with an Awesome Jump shot from Behind B tank but the former tek9 star woobai and his trusted Shotgun Prevailed and seen defusekids on the Scoreboard for the first time in the match. defusekids 1-4 SPEEDLINK

Round 6 We had some very nice exchanged of fire between both of these great teams, woobai picking up 2 rifle frags in the opening minute but was countered with phY1 and Fuchsstute both evening the rosters again with a Brilliant shot from Fuchsstute in the smallest of gaps, then with SPEEDLINK and co Another round was sealed with Nightwalker taking 2 Shotgun frags. Remaining rounds we steady again, with defusekids still trying to keep up with the Germans, pulling a few tricks out of the bag and got some rounds, Nightwalker in round 9 shattering their hopes again with a Burst of energy behind the Shotgun seeing him take down 3 and

Round 10 SPEEDLINK starting 8-1 up and the end result of this match looking to be a huge deficit, SPEEDLINK defensively impenetrable closing up round 10 with ease.

Round 11 We see defusekids finally picking up the tempo with Sloom taking 2 frags in the round and Stevy with a nice kill on phY1, Fuchsstute left on his own versus 3 “kids” and JakkiePee closing up round 11, with the score at 9-2 for defusekids.

The final round see’s z1N take down Stevy with a Grenade on main street, woobai with a stunning rifle and shotgun kill in arches, the plant was down at the B bombsite, Trigger and z1N left, making their way across but woobai quickly had Trigger lined up and took the shot, z1N revenging a heavily tagged woobai but couldn’t defuse the bomb as JakkiePee made sure of it. End of half, score 9-3 to SPEEDLINK

My Thoughts on the half

Things seemed troubled for defusekids as they just couldn’t manage to break the SPEEDLINK defence and the had to find a way to get into this match. yazzY was also introduced to Nightwalkers MG too many times finding himself with 0-10 frags during most of the first half and picking one up at the half, and his brother Stevy also only picking up 3 during the half. I was thinking to myself I know defusekids can do this, they are a great side and the luck wasn’t on their side this match with a very professional SPEEDLINK doing what they do best on a map they have played on as a team for a very long time. SPEEDLINK Nightwalker having a very solid first half along with team-mate Fuchsstute and woobai and Sloom keeping defusekids in the match at the closing half.

Second 1/2

Round 13 see’s JakkiePee and Sloom both picking up very early Frags, Stevy giving good cover to woobai taking out phY1, Trigger left vs 4 “kids” and had a few chances to even the ratio but didn’t. woobai finally taking the kill in basement. 4-9 SPEEDLINK, but SPEEDLINK taking Round 14, with some very nice timed attacks and co-ordinated play. 10-4 SPEEDLINK

Round 15 Again, a good start from defusekids but the SPEEDLINK players picking up the frags directly after, and Sloom wondering where all his team disappeared too, Trigger probably pulling of the most lucky mid-air headshot I’ve ever seen but it was fun to watch. 11-4 SPEEDLINK.

Round 16 slow, but the reason was justified with a tandem A & B push from SPEEDLINK with caught out defusekids completely, not before yazzY could pull off an amazing shot at MG but quickly being dispatched by z1N jumping out the top window onto his head. Trigger picking up 2 kills, one of which ended the round and we have match point! It wasn’t be for SPEEDLINK Just yet as defusekids savaged the opposition leaving the ratio at 4:1 with Fuchsstute probably shitting a brick after he seen the eye’s of woobai in cellar stairs, quickly trying to get a hold on him before he couldn’t unleash the shotgun, was a close battle but woobai and he 180 degree shot made me laugh but more importantly brought the game back in play with SPEEDLINK still needing just one round to call a good game. A close 18th round almost gave it to SPEEDLINK but woobai and Sloom saved the round in a 2v2 situation with Trigger out of the equation and Fuchsstute leaving himself too exposed and was seen off my woobai.

Round 19 and defusekids were coming back, slowly but surely early round exchanged seen two defusekids down but 4 of the Germans saying goodbye, phY1 desperately trying his luck, with 2 revenge frags but this wasn’t enough and the round go’s to the Belgium’s, well played!

Round 20 defusekids know they have to keep performing and outsmarting each round in order to really pull this one back, but with Sloom being expelled with a very cheeky nade things looked bleak, the two brothers yazzY and Stevy were left, versus a planted bomb and a two very determined German opponents, yazzY was all but close to the bombsite when he was taken down and brother Stevy knew it was upto him, down in the dirt for the defuse he manages to take out an opposition, but there was no time to hunt for the last, the only other option was to defuse and hope. Hope was shattered after the scoreboard changed up to 13 in SPEEDLINK favour and a good game was called.

Well, a very pleasant game to watch - many nice frags and good teamwork from my POV. Unlucky to defusekids, a very good team in my eyes, but they couldn't do enough to beat a Speedlink team that has been together for a very long time and know what they are doing, 7 rounds against them on a map such as Carentan is respectable. well played both teams
